πŸ“Œ QUESTION OF THE WEEK — JULY 5, 2026 ❓ WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DIE? CAN ETERNITY BE PROVEN WITHOUT USING THE BIBLE? Shammah (21) from Raleigh, North Carolina, writes: "Good morning, Mr. James. First, let me say that I am an atheist. I do not believe in God, the Bible, heaven, hell, or an afterlife. Can you prove to me that there is an eternity without using the Bible? I bet my friends that you couldn't." Shammah, thank you for your honesty and courage. Questions like yours deserve thoughtful answers, not ridicule. Can anyone "prove" eternity in the same way we prove that 2+2=4? No. But there are compelling reasons to believe that our existence extends beyond physical death. πŸ”Ή Consciousness: Science can describe brain activity, but it still cannot fully explain why we possess self-awareness, reason, morality, love, creativity, and the sense of "I." πŸ”Ή Objective Morality: Most people believe that some things are truly right and others truly wrong. ...

πŸŒ‹ WHEN THE EARTH REMINDS US THAT LIFE IS FRAGILE Life has a way of reminding us that anything can happen at any time. On June 30, 2026, the Taal Volcano, located about 80 kilometers south of Manila, erupted at approximately 7:13 a.m., with the initial event lasting about four minutes. Later that same afternoon, at approximately 2:34 p.m., a second significant eruption occurred, lasting around four and a half minutes. For many around the world, it was little more than another news headline. But for those living in the shadow of the volcano, it was a sobering reminder of life's uncertainty. We often live as though tomorrow is guaranteed. Yet, in a matter of moments, everything can change. As believers, we are reminded that our mission remains urgent. People are hurting. People are afraid. People are searching for hope, truth, and peace in an increasingly uncertain world. Please pray for Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International as we endeavor to proclaim the Gospel to the world an...

✝️ YOUR LIFE IS ABOUT TO CHANGE FOREVER I believe that, in the next few moments, someone's life is about to change. Perhaps you have been searching for answers. Perhaps you have carried questions, fears, doubts, or burdens for years. And perhaps you have arrived at one of life's greatest questions: "What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30) The answer is not found in religion, good works, money, or human effort. The answer is found in a Person: Jesus Christ . The Bible says: "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) If you believe that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, and you are willing to turn to Jesus Christ in faith, you can pray: πŸ™ Prayer of Salvation "Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. Today, I repent of my sins and place my faith and tru...

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ THE EVE OF INDEPENDENCE: JULY 3, 1776 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ As America approaches the celebration of her 250th anniversary of independence , it is worth pausing to remember what was happening on the eve of the Fourth of July. By July 3, 1776, the die had been cast. The previous day, July 2 , the Second Continental Congress had voted to approve Richard Henry Lee's resolution declaring that the thirteen colonies were "free and independent States." John Adams believed that July 2—not July 4—would forever be remembered as America's Independence Day. He even predicted it would be celebrated with "pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations." He was almost right. Throughout July 3, delegates gathered in Philadelphia to debate, revise, and finalize the wording of a document primarily drafted by Thomas Jefferson. Every word mattered. Every sentence carried enormous weight. These men knew that by signing their names, they were risking ...

πŸ“– WHEN GOD SPEAKS, WHAT WILL YOU DO? I believe—indeed, I know—that God still speaks to hearts today. At the same time, I do not believe God is speaking nearly as often as many claim. But when He does speak, we know it. There is an unmistakable conviction, prompting, or calling that settles deep within our spirit. The challenge is not usually hearing God's voice. The challenge is obeying it. Many times, when God asks us to do something we know we cannot accomplish on our own, our first response is to draw back. Why? ❓ We are afraid. ❓ We are doubtful. ❓ We are undecided. I understand those emotions. I've experienced them myself. Yet, over the years, I've learned a truth that has proven itself time and again: Your blessings are often found on the other side of your obedience. I believe God may be speaking to some of you reading this post right now. Perhaps He is calling you to forgive, to give, to go, to stay, to serve, to witness, to trust, or simply to take that first st...
