  When Desperation Becomes Revelation Over the years, I’ve developed what I call a “hap”—a habit born not out of convenience, but out of necessity. Life has a way of placing us in the crucible, and it’s there—under pressure—that something powerful happens. Desperation often gives way to revelation. Time and again, I’ve found myself returning to two anchors in the Bible that have steadied me when nothing else could: Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 127:1 . In Joshua, I’m reminded that no matter what I face, I am commanded to “be strong and of a good courage.” Not because of who I am—but because of Who is with me.
