Fifty Years Ago, A Young Man Stepped Off the Bus On June 4, 1976, a young man stepped off a bus at Recruit Training Command, San Diego, California. He was an E-1 Recruit assigned to Company 125. His Company Commander was ABH1 Walsh. His Adjutant was Airman Williams. He had no idea where the journey would lead. After boot camp came Radioman "A" School in San Diego. Then the USS Dubuque (LPD-8), where he would serve from 1976 to 1980. Along the way, something even more important happened—he met a young woman in 1978 who would become his wife in 1979. More than four decades later, they are still walking life's journey together. The years moved quickly. Chief Petty Officer in 1988. Chief Warrant Officer in 1991. Limited Duty Officer in 1996. Retirement from the United States Navy in 2003 after 27 years of service. And today? That young recruit serves as Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, sharing the Gospel and helping families throughout the Philipp...

What began years ago as a calling, a burden, and a vision has become a growing testimony of God's faithfulness. To say that I am excited about what the Lord is doing through this latest book—released today, June 2, in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle eBook on Amazon—would be an understatement. I believe the best is yet to come. God's prom...
