🙏 When God Says No: Is It Wrong to Ask “Why?” We’ve all been there. We prayed. We believed. We trusted. Yet the answer we hoped for never came. In those moments, a question rises from deep within the heart: “Why, Lord?” Is it wrong to ask God why? No—it’s not wrong. It’s human. Throughout Scripture, faithful men and women asked God “why.” David cried out in the Psalms. Job questioned in his suffering. Even Jesus, on the cross, said, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” These were not acts of rebellion, but expressions of relationship. God is not afraid of your questions. He welcomes your honesty. But here is the key: there is a difference between asking “why” in faith and asking “why” in doubt. One seeks understanding while still trusting.
