📖 WHEN GOD SPEAKS, WHAT WILL YOU DO?

I believe—indeed, I know—that God still speaks to hearts today.

At the same time, I do not believe God is speaking nearly as often as many claim. But when He does speak, we know it. There is an unmistakable conviction, prompting, or calling that settles deep within our spirit.

The challenge is not usually hearing God's voice.

The challenge is obeying it.

Many times, when God asks us to do something we know we cannot accomplish on our own, our first response is to draw back. Why?

❓ We are afraid.
❓ We are doubtful.
❓ We are undecided.

I understand those emotions. I've experienced them myself.

Yet, over the years, I've learned a truth that has proven itself time and again:

Your blessings are often found on the other side of your obedience.

I believe God may be speaking to some of you reading this post right now. Perhaps He is calling you to forgive, to give, to go, to stay, to serve, to witness, to trust, or simply to take that first step of faith.

The ball is in your court.

To do or not to do—that choice belongs to you.

But remember the timeless words spoken by Mary nearly 2,000 years ago:

"Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it." (John 2:5)

Faith does not eliminate fear. Faith chooses to obey despite it.
