Every morning, countless families wake up wondering where their next meal will come from. Parents worry about how they will provide for their children. Communities struggle with limited resources, inadequate medical care, poor infrastructure, unemployment, and a lack of opportunities that many of us take for granted. The simple comforts that many Americans enjoy every day—reliable electricity, clean water, transportation, healthcare, grocery stores, and access to churches—are often luxuries in other parts of the world.
