🌿 10 WORDS OF WISDOM FROM GRANDMAMA'S PORCH 🌿
If you grew up in the South, chances are you heard a grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie, or neighbor share a few words of wisdom while sitting on a front porch swing. Some made us laugh. Some made us think. And some have stayed with us for a lifetime.
🏡 Grandmama's Porch Wisdom:
1️⃣ "If you can't say something good, don't say nothing at all."
2️⃣ "Treat people right on the way up—you'll see them again on the way down."
3️⃣ "You reap what you sow, so choose your seeds wisely."
4️⃣ "Prayer may not change everything around you, but it'll change you."
5️⃣ "Don't borrow trouble from tomorrow."
6️⃣ "A hard head makes for a soft behind."
7️⃣ "Character is what you do when nobody's looking."
8️⃣ "Never let the sun go down on anger."
9️⃣ "Mind your own business and pray for everybody else's."
🔟 "If God ain't in it, don't force it."
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and endless opinions, perhaps we need a little more front porch wisdom and a little less worldly wisdom.
What words of wisdom did your grandmama, mama, or elder family members leave with you? Share them below. Someone out there may need to hear them today.
