A Life of Service — Pastor James Langston

Some lives are defined by titles. Others are defined by service.

James Langston is a man whose life has been shaped by faith, family, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.

He is a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, missionary, author, and Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International—a ministry devoted to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

Before entering full-time ministry leadership, Pastor Langston served 27 years in the United States Navy, faithfully defending the freedoms many enjoy today. That season of service instilled in him the discipline, courage, and commitment that would later define his ministry.

After his naval career, he continued his mission of service—this time in a spiritual capacity—dedicating his life to preaching the Gospel, encouraging believers, and reaching people with the message of Jesus Christ.

As Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, Pastor Langston has spent decades sharing the Good News through preaching, writing, global outreach, and humanitarian work. The ministry today is actively involved in evangelistic outreach and community support in the Philippines and across Asia, bringing hope, practical help, and the message of salvation to communities in need.

In addition to pastoral ministry, James Langston is also a prolific author, writing books that encourage faith, address modern challenges, and point readers back to biblical truth.

Through every season of life—from the Navy to the pulpit—his message has remained the same:
Jesus Christ is the hope of the world.
