🚀 LOOKING TO THE STARS… WHILE FORGETTING THE BOOK BESIDE US

As far back as I can remember, space and time have fascinated me.

Shows like The Time Tunnel, Lost in Space, and Star Trek stirred something deep inside many of us. They made us wonder:
What’s out there?
Where did we come from?
Are we alone?
What lies beyond time itself?

Then came real-life achievements that seemed almost unbelievable.

Voyager I and Voyager II, launched by NASA in 1977, traveled farther than any human-made objects in history. These spacecraft crossed the outer planets, captured breathtaking images of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, and are now traveling beyond our solar system carrying a golden record—a message from Earth intended for anyone or anything that might one day find it.

Then there’s the Hubble Space Telescope, launched in 1990, which changed how humanity sees the universe. Hubble revealed galaxies billions of light-years away, massive stars being born, and a universe far larger and more mysterious than we ever imagined.

And yet, for all our searching into space, one truth quietly remains:

The greatest answers mankind seeks may not be “out there” at all.

They may already be here.

In a world obsessed with discovering new worlds, many people overlook the most extraordinary book ever given to humanity: the Bible.

Within its pages are questions and answers about:
• creation
• time
• humanity
• good and evil
• purpose
• eternity
• love
• judgment
• hope
• and the destiny of mankind

Science can show us how things work.
But only God can explain why we exist.

The heavens declare the glory of God, but the Word of God reveals the heart of God.

Maybe the greatest mystery is not hidden in distant galaxies…
Maybe it’s hidden in the dust collecting on the Bible sitting beside us.

As America heads into another weekend filled with ballgames, cookouts, travel plans, celebrations, social media, and much-needed rest, let us not forget something important:

A nation is not held together by politics alone.
It is held together by values, faith, compassion, truth, humility, and how we treat one another.

Right now, many people around us are struggling silently.

Some are battling depression.
Some are grieving.
Some are worried about finances.
Some are carrying family burdens.
Some are questioning their purpose.
And some are simply exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

So before we rush into another busy weekend, let’s remember what truly matters:

🙏 Pray for our families.
🙏 Pray for our children.
🙏 Pray for our nation.
🙏 Pray for wisdom for our leaders.
🙏 Pray for peace in our communities.
🙏 Pray for those who feel forgotten.
🙏 Pray for those without hope.

And maybe most importantly…

Be kind.

You never know who is one encouraging word away from giving up—or one act of compassion away from believing again.

America does not need more hatred.
America does not need more division.
America needs healing.
America needs truth.
America needs grace.
America needs God.

WHEN DID WE STOP LISTENING TO EACH OTHER?

Somewhere along the way, America forgot how to disagree without hating each other.

Families are divided over politics.
Friendships are ending over opinions.
People are judged by one post, one sentence, one vote, or one mistake.
And social media—meant to connect us—has often become a battlefield of outrage, mockery, anger, and noise.

But here’s the uncomfortable question:

What happens to a nation when nobody listens anymore?

Not every person who disagrees with you is your enemy.
Not every differing opinion deserves cancellation.
And not every argument needs to become a war.

We have become quick to react and slow to understand.

Meanwhile:
• anxiety is rising
• loneliness is growing
• depression is increasing
• families are struggling
• people are spiritually exhausted
• and many Americans quietly feel forgotten

We can debate policies without destroying people.
We can stand for truth without losing compassion.
We can defend convictions without losing our humanity.

At the end of the day, America does not just need louder voices.
America needs healing.
America needs wisdom.
America needs humility.
America needs God.

Before you post in anger today…
Before you cut someone off…
