✝️ Christianity: Not Just Something You Do—It’s Who You Are

There’s a dangerous misconception floating around today—that Christianity is a part-time hobby, a weekend ritual, or a list of dos and don'ts. But let me tell you from experience:

Christianity is not something you do. It’s who you are.
Or more accurately, it’s who you’re supposed to be.

This month marks 53 years since I gave my life to Christ. I wasn’t looking for Him, but He was looking for me. And He used the most powerful vessel He could find—a praying great-grandmother, 63 years my senior, who refused to let hell have me.

I didn’t understand God. I had no clue about heaven, hell, or the weight of eternity. But she knew. She saw past what I was into and spoke into who I was called to be.

I’ll never forget the day she cornered me and said, point blank:

“Boy, you are not going to hell! You will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

It wasn’t a suggestion. It was a prophetic declaration fueled by relentless love and prayer.

And here I am—a product of her faith and intercession. Not perfect. Not worthy. But redeemed. And preaching the very Gospel she said I would.

If you've had someone in your life who prayed for you before you even knew what prayer was, you are standing on sacred ground. Their whispered petitions echoed louder in heaven than all the noise the world could offer.

Luke 18:27 says:

“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

You may look at yourself and think, “God couldn’t use someone like me.”
But I’m living proof—He absolutely can. And He will.

💡 Don’t Quit Believing

The enemy may try to convince you that your past disqualifies you or that it’s too late to turn things around.

But here’s the truth:

If you won’t quit believing, God won’t quit doing.

Let your identity in Christ be more than a title—let it define your life. Walk it. Speak it. Live it. And if someone you love is lost, don’t stop praying. Don’t stop declaring. Don’t stop believing.

Because what’s impossible with man is always possible with God.
