Title: The Gift That Keeps on Giving

I’m sending this message from our March 15 Sunday morning church service. Normally I wouldn’t post during a service, but something my pastor said truly resonated in my spirit:

“When you support the work of God, it’s the gift that keeps on giving.”

Some of you reading this today may be struggling—physically, spiritually, financially, or in your home, family, or career. Perhaps you’re quietly wondering if God sees your situation or if He will help you through it.

Let me assure you personally: He can, and He will.

But there are a few things Scripture consistently teaches us to do.

First, pray. Pray for your church (if you have one). Pray for your family. Pray for those who are laboring to take the Gospel to the world. And yes—please pray for us.

Second, believe. Believe that God is able to do exactly what He has promised. Faith is not wishful thinking; it is confidence in the character and power of God.

Third, participate. Become actively involved in supporting ministries that are faithfully, boldly, and unapologetically proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When you give, pray, and stand with those carrying the message of Christ to the nations, you become part of something eternal.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we are working to reach communities throughout the Philippines with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Through missions, outreach, and compassionate ministry, lives are being touched every day.

A New Week, A Living Hope

A new work week is upon us.

March 15–22 promises to be an exciting and exacting week for our nation and for the world. News headlines will come and go. Markets will rise and fall. Debates will intensify. At times, things may appear uncertain—personally, professionally, and nationally.

Yet on this 74th day of the year, there is a truth that every believer should remember.

This world is not the final chapter.

The Scriptures remind us that a day is coming when conflict will finally cease, when nations will no longer rise against nations, and when humanity will “study war no more.” What many people dismiss as distant, wishful, or even delusional thinking, the Bible calls something entirely different.

It calls it our blessed hope.

The hope that Christ will return.
The hope that righteousness will prevail.
The hope that peace will finally reign.

Until that day comes, we continue doing what followers of Christ have always done: praying, serving, giving, and sharing the Gospel wherever God opens a door.

Even in uncertain times, our mission remains clear—bring light where there is darkness and hope where there is despair.

Through the ongoing work of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we are committed to reaching hearts around the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

If you would like to learn more about the ministry and how you can partner with us in this work, please visit:

Let this week begin not with fear, but with faith.
Not with anxiety, but with expectation.

Because for believers, the future is not uncertain—it is promised.

Hope for the Philippines: A Mission That Cannot Wait

Who are we?
We are Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, a Christ-centered missionary ministry committed to reaching the lost, helping the hurting, and bringing hope to communities across the Philippines and Asia.

What are we doing?
Through our ongoing GoFundMe campaign, we are raising support to expand life-changing outreach efforts—mobile medical and dental care, child sponsorship programs, tent revivals, church-building initiatives, and community aid projects. These efforts bring both physical help and the life-giving message of Jesus Christ to people who desperately need hope.

When is this happening?
Right now. The need is immediate. The doors for ministry are open today, and every moment matters when lives and eternal destinies are at stake.

Why does this matter?
Because behind every statistic is a real person—a child who needs education, a family who needs medical care, and a soul searching for truth. The Gospel changes lives, and your generosity can help carry that message to places where hope has been scarce for far too long.

How can you help?
You can become part of this movement today by supporting our mission through this campaign:

Your gift—large or small—helps provide care, compassion, and the Gospel to those who need it most. Together we can reach communities, transform lives, and bring the light of Christ where darkness has lingered.

The time is not tomorrow.
The time is now.

Join us. Stand with us. Help us bring hope to the Philippines and beyond.

Is America on Life Support?

Magandang gabi, friends.

As my wife Cecilia and I wind down from celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary today, our hearts are filled with gratitude. One of the most meaningful moments of the day was hearing the song “47 Years (I’d Choose You Again)”—a beautiful reminder that faithfulness still matters in a world that often forgets the value of covenant.

But tonight my thoughts turn to something much larger.

Is America on life support?

Many people are asking that question today—and not without reason. Morally, socially, physically, and spiritually, our nation appears to be struggling for breath. Over the past 75 years we have watched a gradual drift from the moral foundations that once helped guide our culture. Institutions that once strengthened society are now often weakening it. Schools that once shaped character now too often resemble centers of training and ideological indoctrination.

The prophet warned long ago:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.” (Isaiah 5:20)

Today we see that warning unfolding before our eyes. Right is called wrong. Wrong is celebrated as right. The heart of man grows colder with each passing day, and the darkness we see in society is simply the outward reflection of that inward condition.

Yet this is not a message of despair.

There is still light at the end of the tunnel, and that light is Jesus Christ.

Only the Gospel has the power to transform hearts, restore families, rebuild communities, and give hope where despair has taken root. This is why Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International continues to labor to proclaim the Gospel in the Philippines and across Asia. Souls still matter. Eternity still matters.

Jesus commanded us:

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

The tragedy of our time is not opposition to the Gospel—it is silence from those who believe it. The worst thing a Christian can do in this hour is nothing. Yet many believers have quietly shelved this command, intimidated by culture, distracted by success, or satisfied with a form of religion that requires little sacrifice.

But the harvest is still waiting, and the light of Christ still shines in the darkest places.

🎉 Celebrating 47 Years of Marriage and Ministry — James & Cecilia Langston

Today, March 14, marks the 47th wedding anniversary of James and Cecilia Langston, missionaries devoted to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, especially in the Philippines.

Over the years, their marriage has become a testimony of faith, perseverance, and partnership in both family life and ministry. Through military service, raising six children, missionary work, and decades of ministry, they have remained committed to one another and to the calling God placed on their lives.

James often reflects on their journey together by saying:

"Cecilia, outside of Jesus Christ and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, is the best thing that has ever happened to me on this earth."

He also says that during these 47 years of marriage, he believes he has truly grown into the man God intended him to be, largely because of Cecilia’s love, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering faith.

If you happen to see the Langstons today, or if you are connected with them on social media, please take a moment to simply say:

“Happy Anniversary!”

Your kind words will surely mean a great deal to them.

For many years, James and Cecilia have been a blessing to countless people through their missionary work, preaching, writing, and humanitarian outreach. If their lives or ministry have encouraged you, today would be a wonderful opportunity to show your appreciation.

You can learn more about their work or support their ministry here:
