Real or Fake? The Question Every Christian Must Answer

It has often been said that there are hundreds of millions of Christians around the world. Yet with a global population exceeding 8 billion, genuine followers of Christ can sometimes feel as rare as the proverbial hen’s teeth.

This raises an important question:
What is a real Christian?

The Bible gives clear answers.

πŸ“– A real Christian is born again.
Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). Christianity is not merely affiliation, tradition, or attendance — it is a transformed heart.

πŸ“– A real Christian bears fruit.
Jesus declared, “You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16). Love, humility, forgiveness, obedience, and holiness are evidence of genuine faith.

πŸ“– A real Christian loves God and others.
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). Authentic faith produces authentic love.

πŸ“– A real Christian lives surrendered.
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Following Christ is a daily commitment, not a casual label.

πŸ“– A real Christian endures.
“He who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Genuine faith persists through trials, doubts, and seasons of testing.

So how do we distinguish the genuine from the counterfeit?

Not by titles.
Not by church membership.
Not by public declarations.

But by transformation, fruit, love, obedience, and perseverance.

Yet beyond identifying others, the more sobering question remains:

Which are you — real or fake?

You may say, “God knows.” And He does. But that can be a frightening reality if our lives do not align with our profession.

This is not a message of condemnation — it is an invitation to reflection, repentance, and renewal.

Examine your heart.
Measure your life against Scripture.
And if needed, return to the One who makes all things new.

Now that’s something worth thinking about.

When Fiction Felt Real — And When Reality Will Be Unmistakable

On October 30, 1938, radio listeners across America experienced a moment that would forever be etched into broadcasting history. Orson Welles’ adaptation of The War of the Worlds, aired by CBS, was crafted in such a realistic format that thousands believed a Martian invasion was unfolding before their very ears.

The broadcast was structured as a series of breaking news bulletins interrupting music programming — urgent voices, eyewitness accounts, and escalating reports of destruction. Many listeners tuned in after the opening disclaimer, unaware it was fiction. What followed was confusion, fear, and in some cases, genuine panic.

To this day, the program stands as one of the most famous examples of how powerful a message can be when presented with realism and urgency — blurring the line between imagination and perceived truth.

Yet history invites a deeper question.

If a fictional broadcast could stir hearts, unsettle communities, and cause widespread alarm, what will happen when an event foretold not by dramatists but by Scripture unfolds?

We live in a world where the message of Jesus Christ is often dismissed, minimized, or misunderstood. Faith is sometimes treated as outdated, inconvenient, or irrelevant. Believers can feel like outsiders in a culture that increasingly moves in another direction.

But the Bible speaks of a moment — the Rapture — when Christ will return for His people.

Will that moment awaken those who remain?
Will it provoke curiosity, denial, fear, or indifference?
Will it be explained away, debated, or ignored?

Only time will answer those questions.

For those who doubt, consider this: life itself is a series of decisions about what we believe and where we place our trust. If you have chosen to wager that God’s promises will not come to pass, that is a risk with eternal implications.

Scripture has stood the test of centuries — challenged, examined, criticized, yet enduring. Its message remains unchanged, its warnings consistent, and its invitation open.

Perhaps the greater question is not if these events will occur, but whether we are prepared should they.

Think about it.
Reflect on it.
Pray about it.

✝️ You Were Not Called to Walk Alone

Every Christian needs a godly pastor they can sit under.
And yes — every pastor needs a pastor.

One of the quiet struggles within the body of Christ today is the rise of what I call the “lone ranger” believer.

“I don’t need another pastor telling me what to do.”
“I can talk to God for myself.”
“I don’t need spiritual covering.”

Let me say this carefully — and lovingly.

Be careful with that line of thinking.

Yes, you can talk to God for yourself.
Yes, you have access to Him through Jesus Christ.
But God never designed Christianity to be independent.

He designed it to be interconnected.

In Ephesians 4:11–15, God Himself established order:

He gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers
—for the equipping of the saints,
—for the work of ministry,
—for the edifying of the body of Christ,
—until we all grow into maturity.

That’s not man’s structure.
That’s God’s structure.

Isolation may feel strong, but it often breeds blind spots.
Accountability sharpens us.
Spiritual leadership protects us.
Healthy submission matures us.

Even pastors need counsel.
Even leaders need covering.
Even shepherds need shepherds.

The enemy loves isolated believers.
But God builds connected bodies.

You were not called to drift.
You were called to grow.

And growth happens best under sound teaching, biblical leadership, and mature spiritual counsel.

Not control.
Not manipulation.
But order.

God’s order.

If you’re walking alone spiritually, ask yourself —
Who is speaking into my life?
Who do I listen to when I’m wrong?
Who points me back to the Cross when I’m weak?

Christianity is not a solo journey.

It is a body.
And every part needs the other.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ What Is So Significant About the Year 2027? πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Two years ago, I wrote America 2027: A Nation at the Crossroads of Destiny.

At the time, some may have thought the year was symbolic. A future marker. A distant horizon.

But now… it’s no longer distant.

It’s almost here.

The better question is not “What is significant about 2027?”

The better question is:

Are you ready for 2027?

2027 represents more than a calendar year.
It represents convergence.

Economic pressure is rising.
Global tensions are shifting.
Technology is accelerating faster than regulation.
Civic trust continues to erode.
Cultural values are being tested.

We are watching institutions strain, alliances recalibrate, and moral clarity grow increasingly blurred.

When I wrote this book nearly two years ago, I sensed we were approaching a defining moment — not because of mysticism, not because of conspiracy — but because history shows that nations reach inflection points.

And when they do, character determines trajectory.

2027 is not about fear.
It is about preparedness.

Prepared minds.
Prepared hearts.
Prepared leadership.
Prepared citizens.

The question is not whether America will face challenges. That is certain.
The question is how we will respond when pressure meets principle.

History teaches us that nations do not fall because they encounter adversity.
They fall when they fail to respond with integrity.

So I ask again —
Are you ready?

Ready to think critically.
Ready to lead responsibly.
Ready to strengthen your faith.
Ready to defend liberty with character.

The year is approaching. The crossroads is real.

Brief Overview:

πŸ™ A Prayer for When You’re Holding It Together on the Outside — But Falling Apart Inside πŸ™

This prayer is for those of you who are going through something…
About to go through something…
Or just coming out of something.

To everyone else, you seem fine.
You’re smiling. Showing up. Functioning.

But inside, you feel stretched thin.
One more hit. One more phone call. One more disappointment —
and you wonder if you’ll lose your peace completely.

It’s in moments like these that the enemy tries to manipulate your thoughts.

He whispers:
“You’re alone.”
“You’re weak.”
“You’re not going to make it.”

But Jesus said to Peter, “I have prayed for you that your faith fail not.” (Luke 22:32)

If Jesus prayed for Peter, He intercedes for you.

So let us pray.

πŸ™ Prayer

Father God,

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I lift up every person reading this right now.

You see the battle in their mind.
You see the silent pressure.
You see the tears no one else knows about.

Lord, I plead the precious Blood of Jesus over their mind, their emotions, and their spirit. Cover them with Your protection. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.

I rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, confusion, heaviness, and despair that has tried to attach itself to their thoughts. You have no authority here. In the name of Jesus, you must go.

Father, quiet the chaos in their mind.
Break the cycle of negative thinking.
Silence the lies of the enemy.

Refocus their eyes off the problem —
and back onto You, the Problem Solver.

Remind them that You are near.
Remind them that they are not abandoned.
Remind them that this season is not their identity.

Strengthen their faith so it does not fail.
Guard their peace.
Restore their clarity.
Renew their hope.

Jesus, be their anchor in this storm.

In Your powerful name we pray,
Amen.

If this prayer spoke to you, don’t fight alone.

🌐 pomitaly.homestead.com

You are covered.
You are prayed for.
And this battle will not define you.
