✝️ You Were Not Called to Walk Alone

Every Christian needs a godly pastor they can sit under.
And yes — every pastor needs a pastor.

One of the quiet struggles within the body of Christ today is the rise of what I call the “lone ranger” believer.

“I don’t need another pastor telling me what to do.”
“I can talk to God for myself.”
“I don’t need spiritual covering.”

Let me say this carefully — and lovingly.

Be careful with that line of thinking.

Yes, you can talk to God for yourself.
Yes, you have access to Him through Jesus Christ.
But God never designed Christianity to be independent.

He designed it to be interconnected.

In Ephesians 4:11–15, God Himself established order:

He gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers
—for the equipping of the saints,
—for the work of ministry,
—for the edifying of the body of Christ,
—until we all grow into maturity.

That’s not man’s structure.
That’s God’s structure.

Isolation may feel strong, but it often breeds blind spots.
Accountability sharpens us.
Spiritual leadership protects us.
Healthy submission matures us.

Even pastors need counsel.
Even leaders need covering.
Even shepherds need shepherds.

The enemy loves isolated believers.
But God builds connected bodies.

You were not called to drift.
You were called to grow.

And growth happens best under sound teaching, biblical leadership, and mature spiritual counsel.

Not control.
Not manipulation.
But order.

God’s order.

If you’re walking alone spiritually, ask yourself —
Who is speaking into my life?
Who do I listen to when I’m wrong?
Who points me back to the Cross when I’m weak?

Christianity is not a solo journey.

It is a body.
And every part needs the other.
