A New Week. A New Year. A Made-Up Mind.

The first full work week of 2026 begins today.

For many of you, 2025 was rough—especially those final months. Disappointments, setbacks, unanswered prayers, and moments when it felt like nothing was going right. But hear this clearly: that season is behind you now.

You may hate your job.
You may be unhappy with where you are personally or professionally.
You may feel stuck, tired, or discouraged.

But here’s the truth that never changes: God specializes in things that seem impossible.

Do not let yesterday’s setbacks pull the rug out from under your faith today. Walk into this year with a made-up mind and a settled heart that says:

“No matter what comes, I’m going to make it.”

Because with God, this can be the beginning of something new, something better, and something purposeful. I’m believing this is the start of a great year for you.

Stand firm. Stay hopeful. Keep moving forward.

Brilliant Minds, Eternal Blindness

In the 67 years I have lived, I have met some extraordinarily brilliant people—men and women whose intellect bordered on genius. Their ability to analyze, articulate, and solve the most complex problems left me in awe. Yet, over time, I noticed a troubling common thread: arrogance—sometimes so pronounced it resembled a “god” complex.

What puzzled me most was this paradox: how someone could be so intelligent in the ways of the world, yet so unintelligent in the things that truly matter—Jesus Christ. Some even dismissed Christianity as “the feeble man’s crutch,” as though humility were weakness and faith a flaw.

I am reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words:
“When I am weak, then am I strong.”

Sooner or later, every one of us will step into eternity. When that moment comes, intellect, accolades, and self-reliance will not matter. Only one question will remain: Who did you trust? Yourself? Another person? Or Jesus Christ?

Choose wisely.
Eternity is a very long time to be wrong.

When Heaven Answers the Cry of the Waiting Heart

This morning, January 3, around 10:25 a.m. (EST), I felt the Lord move on my heart with unmistakable clarity—“I have heard your cry, and now is the time I have chosen to answer you.”

To say I was overjoyed would be an understatement. Yet as the moment lingered, it became clear this Rhema Word was not for me alone. It was also for some of you—those who have been praying, waiting, believing, and holding on when answers seemed delayed.

I believe this is your time as well.

How will you know if this Word was meant for you?
The answer is simple and holy: His peace will flood your heart, settling you, assuring you, confirming that heaven has spoken directly to your situation.

If this resonates with your spirit, receive it—not with fear, but with faith.

'Thank You, Lord, for hearing our cries, answering in Your perfect time, filling us with peace, restoring hope, renewing strength, and proving once again that You are faithful'

Blessings to you and your household.

A Prayer for You — Day 4 of the New Year

On this fourth day of the New Year, we pause—not to rush ahead, but to bow our hearts before God on your behalf.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father,
We come to You in humility and faith, knowing that You alone see the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. You know the physical needs that weigh heavily, the emotional burdens carried in silence, the mental battles fought behind closed doors, and the spiritual questions that stir deep within the heart.

Lord, we ask for healing where there is sickness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where anxiety has taken root. Restore weary minds, calm troubled hearts, and renew hope where discouragement has lingered too long.

Yet Father, we do not pray soft words without truth. We proclaim the uncompromising Gospel, because only truth truly heals.

Your Word declares:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:9–10

Today, we lift up every soul reading this prayer. Draw them—not to religion, not to self-effort, not to empty promises—but to Jesus Christ, the Savior who forgives sin, restores identity, and gives eternal life.

May this year begin not merely with resolutions, but with repentance, faith, obedience, and surrender. Let hearts be softened, truth be received, and lives be transformed—not halfway, but wholly.

We trust You, Lord, with all that we are and all that we need.
In Jesus’ mighty and saving name,
Amen.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we are committed to praying, preaching, and proclaiming this Gospel to the nations.

Life Is the Rehearsal—Eternity Is the Performance

So often, when life hurts, we look for someone to blame.
We blame God for what happened to us, what happened to our family, our failures, and even our past mistakes.

But here is the truth we often forget:

Life is not the final act. It is a dress rehearsal for eternity.

God is not the problem.
God is not the enemy.
God is not standing in our way.

Many times—we are.

We see only a fragment of the picture, a single frame in a much larger story. God, however, sees the whole—every chapter, every turning point, every outcome. What feels confusing or unfair in the moment is often part of a purpose we cannot yet comprehend.

In the end, it all comes down to trust.

Who will you trust?
Your friends?
Your instincts?
Your resources?
Or God?

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we proclaim this simple but life-altering truth across cultures and continents: trusting God is not weakness—it is wisdom.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve made my choice.

I choose—and chose—Jesus Christ.**
