CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

One of the questions Christians are asking more and more in recent years is this: “Why should I waste my time sharing the gospel with people who obviously do not want to hear anything I have to say?”

If this is you, perhaps you believe you already know who will listen and who will not. Or maybe you simply shy away from anything that feels confrontational, uncomfortable, or divisive. Either way, if God is the One prompting your heart to speak, witness, encourage, or reach out to someone, then He knows far more about the situation than you or I ever could.

We see rejection. God sees opportunity.

We see resistance. God sees a soul standing at the edge of surrender.

We see someone uninterested. God may see a broken heart silently crying out for help in the middle of the night.

The gospel was never meant to be shared only with people who are easy to talk to, agreeable, or receptive. Jesus spoke to the rejected, the indifferent, the hostile, the religious, the sinner, and the outcast alike. If we begin “picking and choosing” who deserves to hear the truth, then we are no longer following His example—we are following our comfort.

You say you care about souls. You say you do not want anyone to die lost and spend eternity separated from God. Then the real question becomes this:

Are you willing to go where He says go, do what He says do, and say what He says say?

Only God knows the details behind the faces we pass every day. One conversation, one prayer, one invitation, or one act of obedience could change a person’s eternity forever.

“Choose you this day whom ye will serve...” — Joshua 24:15
