📌 Wednesday, January 27, 2026 — Daily Devotional 🔗 Get your copy: https://vist.ly/4hsd8 “Strength for the Moment You’re In” One of the quiet burdens many carry is the pressure to stay strong all the time. Strong for family. Strong for work. Strong for expectations that never seem to ease. We push ourselves to keep going, even when our hearts feel tired and our faith feels stretched thin. But God never asked you to draw strength from yourself. Strength was never meant to be self-generated. It was meant to be received . God supplies what you need as you need it —not all at once, not in advance, but faithfully and on time. You don’t have to be strong enough for the whole journey today. You only need strength for this step—and God promises that much. ã…¤ 📖 Isaiah 40:29–31 says, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” ã…¤ God does n...

✝️ QUESTION OF THE WEEK From Ethan, 16 — Spokane, Washington February 9, 2026 ã…¤ “Hi, Pastor James. I’m not even sure how to explain this without sounding strange, but I’ll try… I feel lonely even when I’m around people. I’m connected all the time—group chats, social media, school—but I still feel invisible. Everyone else seems confident about who they are and where they’re going, and I feel like I’m pretending most days. Some nights I feel anxious for no clear reason. Other times I just feel numb. I pray, but I don’t always know what to say, and then I feel guilty for not feeling more ‘faithful.’ Is it normal to feel this disconnected and unsure? And how do I keep my faith real when I don’t even understand what I’m feeling?” ã…¤ Hi Ethan — thank you for trusting me with a question many young people feel but rarely voice. ã…¤ Let me say this clearly: what you’re describing is more common than you think, and it does not mean something is wrong with you. ã…¤ Loneliness in a c...

💼 A New Work Week Begins | January 26 – February 2 A new work week is upon us—and not just any week. This marks the final stretch of January , a quiet bridge between what has already passed and what is still unfolding. As you step into this week, remember: You don’t have to do everything—just the next right thing . You don’t have to have every answer—just a willing heart. You don’t have to feel strong—strength often shows up after obedience. Some of you are carrying heavy workloads. Others are navigating uncertainty, deadlines, responsibilities, or decisions that don’t pause just because the calendar turns. Take courage— you were not brought this far to be left unsupported . Let this be a week of: • steady focus, not overwhelm • faith-filled effort, not fear-driven striving • progress, even if it comes one step at a time Whether you’re clocking in, caring for others, building something new, or simply holding things together—your work matters. What you do today contributes...

🕊️ Thought for Today — January 26, 2026 We must face the world as it truly is—not as we think it is, and not as we wish it to be. Scripture reminds us why this matters. Our perceptions, emotions, and assumptions are often unreliable guides when left unchecked. The prophet Jeremiah captured this truth with sobering clarity: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) This is not a message of despair—it is a call to discernment. When we rely solely on our feelings or personal interpretations, we risk confusing desire with truth and comfort with wisdom. God’s Word invites us to see clearly, think honestly, and submit our understanding to Him rather than trusting our own instincts. Truth does not bend to opinion. Reality does not shift with preference. But God’s Word stands firm—unchanging, faithful, and trustworthy. Today, let us ask the Lord to search our hearts, renew our minds, and align our thinking with His truth. Onl...

☀️ Good Morning — Monday, January 26, 2026 ☀️ A new day has been placed gently in your hands. Yesterday is complete. Tomorrow is unwritten. Today is a gift—filled with purpose, grace, and the quiet faithfulness of God. No matter what you carry into this morning—questions, weariness, hope, or expectation—know this: God has already gone before you. His mercies are new, His strength is sufficient, and His presence is constant. Morning Prayer Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of this new day. As we rise, we ask that You would fill our hearts with Your peace and steady our minds with Your truth. Guide our steps, guard our words, and order our decisions according to Your will. Give us wisdom where we lack clarity, strength where we feel weak, and grace to walk in love toward everyone we encounter. May our lives today reflect Your goodness and bring honor to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen. As you step into this day, walk confidently— you are not alone, and you are not forgott...

📈 The Revival You Won’t See on a Screen—But Heaven Records It A few days ago, I read something that stopped me in my tracks: more and more Gen Z’ers are turning to the Gospel . What made it even more powerful is this— we’re seeing the same thing firsthand . At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we’ve watched Millennials and Gen Z’ers who were once hardened, skeptical, or indifferent to the Gospel begin to rethink their stance . Questions are being asked. Walls are coming down. Hearts are opening. And lives are being changed. It made me think: Wouldn’t it be something if there were an online “Salvation Meter” —a real-time counter showing how many people across the United States are giving their hearts to the Lord? Something like the National Debt Clock, but measuring redemption instead of loss. Of course, no such meter exists. And maybe that’s a good thing. Because while we may not know the number, God knows the names . Every confession whispered in a dorm room. Every prayer p...
