🌅 GOOD MORNING — THURSDAY, MAY 21, 2026 🌅

Today’s prayer is simple.

“Lord, I am not asking You for anything today. I just come to thank You.”

Thank You for the doors You opened that no man could shut.
Thank You for the prayers You answered — even the ones I did not immediately recognize.
Thank You for protecting me from dangers I never saw coming.
Thank You for every mountain You carried me over and every valley You walked me through.
Thank You for grace when I failed, mercy when I struggled, and strength when I felt weak.
Thank You for family, friends, provision, peace, and another day of life.

Some of us woke up this morning tired.
Some woke up carrying burdens nobody knows about.
Some are still healing from heartbreak, disappointment, sickness, loss, or uncertainty.

And yet… we are still here.

That alone is reason enough to thank God.

Before the emails.
Before the meetings.
Before the stress.
Before the worries about tomorrow.

Pause for a moment and simply say:
“Lord, thank You.”

🙏 MORNING PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Today I come before You with gratitude in my heart. Not to ask for anything, but simply to thank You for all You have done in my life.

Thank You for Your faithfulness through every season.
Thank You for waking me up this morning with breath in my lungs and another opportunity to live, grow, love, and serve.
Thank You for the blessings I see and the ones working quietly behind the scenes.
Thank You for never leaving me, even during the moments when I felt alone.

Lord, help me never become so distracted by what I still want that I forget to appreciate what You have already done.

Today, may my heart remain grateful, my spirit remain humble, and my faith remain strong.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen. ❤️

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” — Isaiah 6:8

There are moments in life when God quietly places something on your heart: to help someone, encourage someone, forgive someone, speak up, step out, or trust Him in a greater way.

Yet many people hesitate because they feel unqualified, broken, afraid, or unworthy.

That is exactly what makes Isaiah’s response so powerful.

After encountering the holiness of God, Isaiah became deeply aware of his imperfections. But instead of running away from God’s call, he surrendered himself to it.

“Here I am. Send me.”

God is not searching for perfect people. He is looking for willing hearts.

Too often we think our past disqualifies us, our weaknesses limit us, or our fears make us unusable. But throughout Scripture, God consistently used ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.

Your availability to God can become the doorway to someone else’s miracle, encouragement, healing, or hope.

THE PRAYER OF JABEZ: IT WAS NEVER ABOUT GREED — IT WAS ABOUT GOD’S HEART

“Oh that You would bless me indeed, enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” — 1 Chronicles 4:9–10

The Prayer of Jabez is one of the most talked-about prayers in the Bible. Yet many misunderstand it.

This was never a “name it and claim it” formula. It was never a shortcut to riches, fame, or an easy life. Jabez was not manipulating GOD with fancy words. He was crying out from the depths of his heart.

And that is what GOD still listens to today.

Not empty repetition.
Not religious performance.
Not eloquent speeches.

But the HEART.

Jabez understood something many people still miss: GOD is not against blessing His people. He is a loving Father who desires to guide, protect, strengthen, use, and grow those who genuinely seek Him.

“Bless me indeed” was not selfish ambition—it was dependence upon GOD.

“Enlarge my territory” was not just about land—it was about influence, purpose, usefulness, and impact for the Kingdom of GOD.

“Let Your hand be with me” acknowledged that without GOD’s presence, success means nothing.

“Keep me from evil” revealed humility and a desire to live rightly before GOD.

And the Bible says: “And God granted him what he requested.”

Why?

Because GOD saw his heart.

Today, Christians must remember: prayer is not about getting GOD to obey us. Prayer is about aligning our hearts with His will. The Prayer of Jabez reminds us that GOD still hears sincere prayers, honors humility, and responds to faith-filled hearts.

May we stop praying merely for comfort—and begin praying for purpose.
