WHEN “I’M RIGHT” BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT’S RIGHT

One of the greatest tragedies in human history is this: countless wars, divisions, broken homes, shattered churches, and fractured nations have all been fueled by the same destructive spirit — “I’m right, and you are wrong.”

What many fail to realize is that beneath the surface of the American Civil War, and so many other conflicts throughout history, was the poisonous root of pride, stubbornness, self-will, and hardened hearts. Human emotion, human logic, and human wisdom often elevate themselves above humility, compassion, truth, and ultimately above God Himself.

History repeatedly reveals the outcome of unchecked pride: death, division, hatred, prejudice, unrest, violence, and eventually war — within nations, communities, churches, families, and even within ourselves.

The frightening part is this: people rarely change simply because facts are presented to them. A heart consumed with pride becomes like a runaway train heading toward destruction. Only God can truly transform the human heart.

That is why 2 Chronicles 7:14 remains just as powerful and relevant today as when it was written:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Notice the first requirement: humble themselves.
The greatest battlefield is often not around us, but within us — the struggle against the “stranger in the mirror” called self.

America does not simply need more arguments, louder opinions, political outrage, or social division. We need repentance. We need humility. We need God.

Before pointing fingers outward, perhaps we should first ask ourselves:
“Lord… is the problem also within me?”

The healing of a nation begins with the healing of the heart.

πŸŒ…✨ AFTER A LONG WEEK… TAKE A BREATH ✨πŸŒ…

The weekend is finally here. After long hours, difficult people, endless schedules, pressure, stress, disappointments, and exhaustion, many people are mentally and emotionally running on empty.

And when we become tired, frustrated, or overwhelmed, something dangerous can happen: our emotions can begin making decisions our wisdom should be making.

If you’re not careful, your attitude—not what’s right, not what’s best, and not what honors God—can become the driving force behind your actions.

Before you send that message…
Before you say those words…
Before you make that decision you may later regret…

Take a breath.
Step back.
Pray.
Then rethink what you had planned before acting.

Sometimes the greatest act of strength is not reacting emotionally in the moment.

A tired mind can create unnecessary conflict. A wounded spirit can say things that cannot be unsaid. But a heart surrendered to God can bring peace where chaos once ruled.

As you head into the weekend, give yourself permission to rest, reset, and refocus. Laugh a little more. Spend time with family. Put down the stress for a moment. Watch the sunset. Thank God for carrying you through another week.

And to all the mothers reading this… πŸŒΈπŸ’–

Happy Mother’s Day!

Thank you for the sacrifices nobody saw, the prayers nobody heard, the tears nobody knew about, and the love you gave even when you were exhausted yourself.

Today, we celebrate YOU.

May this day bring peace to your heart, joy to your soul, and a reminder that your life has touched more people than you realize.

Enjoy simply being yourself today. You deserve it.

🌍✨ YOU CAN CHANGE A LIFE… FROM HALF A WORLD AWAY ✨🌍

Somewhere tonight, a child will go to bed hungry.
A mother will quietly cry herself to sleep wondering how she will feed her family tomorrow.
A father will stare into the darkness feeling helpless because there is no money for medicine, food, or even hope.

And yet… YOU have the ability to make a difference.

You may never walk the dusty roads of the Philippines.
You may never stand beneath the blistering heat, the torrential rains, or the aftermath of flooding and typhoons.
You may never physically meet the people whose lives are being touched.

But your prayers… your compassion… and your generosity can travel where you cannot.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we believe ministry is not measured by distance, but by obedience. Through evangelism, outreach, encouragement, disaster relief, and helping meet practical needs, lives are being impacted one soul at a time.

Every prayer matters.
Every dollar matters.
Every act of kindness matters.

The enemy wants people to believe that what they do is too small to matter. But throughout Scripture, God has always used ordinary people willing to do extraordinary things through faith.

πŸ•Š️ If you will do your best, God will do the rest.

The little boy only had five loaves and two fish… but when he placed them into the hands of Jesus, it fed thousands.

Imagine what God can do with YOUR willingness.

The truth is this: you do not have to be rich to change someone’s life. You simply have to care.

Together, we can shine the light of Christ into some of the darkest places in the world. Together, we can remind hurting people that they are not forgotten. Together, we can help reach souls for eternity.
