πŸ“œ * Faith That Overcomes *

γ…€

πŸ“– For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith – [1 John 5:4]

The world presents many challenges—temptations, hardships, and discouragement—but Scripture reminds us that those who are born of God have the victory. Faith is the key to overcoming, not through our own strength, but through the power of God working in us.

The victory spoken of here does not mean a life free from struggles, but rather the assurance that no struggle will have the final word. Our faith in Christ gives us the ability to rise above fear, doubt, and anything that seeks to weaken us. When we trust God completely, we can walk through trials with confidence, knowing that He has already secured our victory.

Think about a time in your life when everything feels overwhelming and too difficult to bear. Instead of focusing on the weight of your struggles, shift your attention to God’s unchanging promises. Set aside time to write down Bible verses that emphasize His steadfast faithfulness, and make it a daily habit to declare them over your life with confidence.

Prayer:

Lord, I trust that in You, I have victory over every challenge I face. Strengthen my faith so that I will not waver in difficult times. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing that my victory is already secured in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

πŸ“’ A Small Icon. A Huge Impact. Here’s How You Can Change a Life on X Today.

When you visit our ministry page on X — @joybells49 — you’ll notice a small symbol at the top right of the profile.
It doesn’t flash. It doesn’t move.
But it has the power to put food on a family’s table, restore dignity, and bring hope where hope has been lost.

That symbol is the Tip Icon — and it’s one of the fastest, simplest ways to support Pilgrim Outreach Ministries.

πŸ“ Where to Find the Tip Icon

When you open @joybells49 on mobile or desktop:

➡️ Look at the top of the profile page
➡️ It sits right beside the “Follow” button
➡️ It appears as a small money symbol or dollar icon

Tap it once, and you’ll instantly see secure giving options you can use in seconds.

πŸ’‘ What the Tip Icon Represents

For many users, it’s just a feature.
But for us, it means:

✨ A mother receiving food for her children
✨ A child gaining access to basic medicine
✨ A family devastated by disaster receiving relief
✨ The Gospel being shared where the need is greatest

It turns compassion into action—instantly.

πŸ™ Why It Matters

Giving shouldn’t be complicated.
And with the Tip Icon, it isn’t.

In 10 seconds, you can help fuel:

Our Christmas for Jesus outreach
Feeding programs in the Philippines
Medical and crisis support for struggling families
Evangelistic missions in unreached communities
Year-round humanitarian efforts through Pilgrim Outreach Ministries

Every gift—large or small—helps us reach people who are praying for someone to care.

When you tap that icon, you become the answer to someone’s prayer.

πŸ“Œ This #GivingTuesday, Your Compassion Can Change a Family’s Tomorrow

Today isn’t just another day on the calendar.
It’s a moment to shift the trajectory of a family’s life.
A chance to put food on an empty table… to bring light into a home that’s been overwhelmed by hardship… to be an answer to prayer for someone who has lost hope.

For 27 years, Pilgrim Outreach Ministries has stood with struggling families across the Philippines—feeding the hungry, encouraging the broken, strengthening communities, and lifting up the name of Jesus with humility and love. But we cannot do this without you.

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity becomes the miracle they’ve been waiting for.

You can help in TWO simple ways:

1. Give directly through our ministry link:
πŸ‘‰ pomitaly.homestead.com

2. Or donate instantly through X (Twitter) using the “Tips” icon:
πŸ‘‰ https://vist.ly/4hj79

A single act of kindness today can feed a family… bless a child… or help restore the dignity of someone who feels forgotten.

Let’s do something unforgettable today.
Let’s show the world what compassion looks like in action.

From my heart to yours—thank you for standing with us.

πŸ“Œ Open Letter to the Athletes Who Still Care
By Pastor James Langston, Pilgrim Outreach Ministries

To every professional athlete across every field of play—basketball, football, baseball, track, boxing, MMA, soccer, and beyond—

I write to you not as a fan, but as a retired Navy veteran, a missionary, and a pastor who has watched your journeys for decades.

I have seen you rise.
I have seen you inspire.
I have seen you push through injuries, criticism, pressure, and impossible odds.

But today, I write to you about something far bigger than a scoreboard.

An Open, Heartfelt Appeal

Athletes are some of the most influential voices in the world. You shape culture. You encourage millions. You show children what discipline looks like. And you give them hope—hope that one day, they can rise above their circumstances, too.

Right now, in the Philippines, countless families are on the brink of losing that hope.

This year alone, severe natural disasters—volcanic eruptions, floods, earthquakes, and typhoons—have wiped out homes and communities. Families who were already struggling now have nothing left… not even the basics of food, clean water, or shelter.

Our ministry, Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, has been on the ground for 27 years. We know these families by name. We’ve held their hands. We’ve prayed with them in the rubble. We’ve watched children look up at us, hoping we can help when their world has fallen apart.

We are doing all we can—but this year, we desperately need partners.

Why You Matter

Athletes have always stepped up in times of crisis. Whether quietly behind the scenes or publicly through your foundations, you’ve shown the world that your heart is bigger than your platform.

And so today, I humbly ask:

Will you stand with us? Will you help us bring Christmas—and hope—back to families who have lost so much?

Your support can feed children.
Your support can restore dignity.
Your support can be the miracle a family has been praying for.

Whether you give, share, repost, or simply amplify the mission, you can make a world-changing impact.

Every gesture matters.
Every dollar reaches a real family.
Every voice lifted makes the need impossible to ignore.

We Are Ready to Do the Work—We Just Need Your Hand in Ours

From the heart of a pastor… from the soul of a veteran… and from the mission field of the Philippines:

Thank you.
Thank you for using your influence for good.
Thank you for remembering those the world often forgets.

You are champions—not just on the court or field, but in life.

With sincere gratitude,
Pastor James Langston

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ A Prayer Our Nation Desperately Needs πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Do you pray for the success of our nation — its leaders, its people, and its future?
Far too many of us pray for those we like and against those we don’t. But did you know Scripture calls us to something higher?

πŸ“– 1 Timothy 2:1–2 urges us to pray for all men and for all who are in authority.
Not just our favorites.
Not just the ones we agree with.
All.

If we truly want healing, fairness, unity, peace, and righteousness in our land, it must begin where everything truly begins — in the heart. And only God can shape a heart to love what is right and reject what is wrong.

So today, and every day, please pray this simple but powerful prayer:

“Lord, I and everyone in this world need You.
We’ve all made mistakes and fallen short in our actions.
Only You can turn things around.
Please start with me.
Then our leaders, my neighbor, and everyone else I meet.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Change doesn’t begin in the White House.
Change begins in my house.
With my heart.
With your heart.

Let’s do our part — faithfully. Humbly. Daily.

πŸ… To Every Professional Athlete: We See You. We’re Praying for You. πŸ…

Professional athletes often smile for the cameras, wave to the crowd, sign jerseys, and perform under blinding lights — but behind the scenes, many are battling pressures, fears, and private struggles that few will ever understand.

Some pain never makes the highlight reel.
Some burdens never make the interviews.
Some battles happen in silence — off-camera, off-season, and off the record.

I want you to know this from the depths of our hearts:

We at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries are praying for you.
Not for your stats.
Not for your fame.
Not for your trophies.

But for you.

We pray you stay strong.
We pray you stay faithful.
We pray you find real peace in a world that demands perfection.
We pray God surrounds you with the right voices, the right mentors, and the right support.

Though we may never meet — and that is not our goal — we have been calling your name before God for years. Your life matters. Your mental health matters. Your faith matters. And your future still has chapters God is writing.

So keep going.
Keep fighting.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Your worth is not measured by wins, losses, or public applause — it is measured by the God who created you, loves you, and has a plan for you.

✝️ QUESTION OF THE WEEK
From Ariana, 14 — Charlotte, North Carolina
γ…€
“Hi Pastor James, I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been following your posts for a few months now.

I just want to ask something I’ve been too embarrassed to say out loud…

I pray every night. I read my Bible. I’m trying so hard to do the right things. But sometimes I still feel empty, like God is far away. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong?”
γ…€
Hi Ariana — thank you for writing!
γ…€
First, please know this: your question is honest, brave, and more common than you think. Many young people are walking through the same valley, wondering why their hearts don’t always “feel” God even when they are seeking Him.
γ…€
Here’s the truth I want you to hold tightly:
Feeling distant from God does NOT mean you’ve failed Him.
γ…€
Sometimes God teaches us to trust Him not through feelings, but through faith.
Sometimes the quiet seasons are where He grows us the most.
Sometimes the silence is not absence — it’s an invitation to lean in deeper.
γ…€
Remember these three things:
God is closer than your breath, even when your emotions say otherwise.
Your worth isn’t measured by how you feel, but by what God has already spoken over you.
Seasons of emptiness are often the doorway to deeper spiritual maturity.
γ…€
Ariana, pray this simple prayer on the days when your heart feels heavy:
γ…€
“Lord, even when I don’t feel You, I trust You.
Draw me closer. Teach me to walk by faith, not feelings.”
γ…€
And please know — you’re not alone. If your parents give permission, I would love to send you a Bible and a copy of our book:
πŸ“˜ Your First Steps in Walking with God
γ…€
Keep seeking. Keep asking. God honors a sincere, searching heart.
