πŸ“ Blog Title: Even the Crumbs Are Enough – A New Book for the Weary Soul

"Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table." — Matthew 15:27

What does faith look like when Heaven is silent?
When the door seems closed?
When the answer feels like a "no"?

For one unnamed Canaanite woman in the Bible, it looked like bold humility.
It looked like persistence in the face of rejection.
It looked like believing that even the crumbs of God's mercy could heal her daughter.

This is the heartbeat of James Langston’s latest release,
πŸ“˜ Crumbs from the Master’s Table (2nd Edition),
now available on Amazon in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle eBook.

πŸ“š About the Book:

This is not just a story retold.
It’s a soul-level invitation to keep believing—when you're tired of trying.

James Langston delivers a message that resonates with:

  • The weary mother

  • The praying pastor

  • The hurting husband

  • And anyone who’s dared to say… “Lord, help me.”

πŸ“– A Nation at War with Itself: Where Do We Go From Here?

By Pilgrim Outreach Ministries
πŸ”— pomitaly.homestead.com

Across the airwaves, in courtrooms, on Capitol Hill, and in conversations around dinner tables, one thing is undeniable: America is at war with itself.

We are a divided nation—fractured not just by politics, but by pride.

There’s bickering, back-biting, and blatant hypocrisy—even among those elected to lead with integrity.
Truth has become subjective. Respect for authority has eroded. And once-shared values seem like relics of the past.

What happened?

Once, disagreement sparked healthy debate. Now, it breeds hostility. We no longer simply disagree—we despise. We don’t just protest—we poison.

Even our identity as a people—“We the People”—has shifted dangerously toward “Us vs. Them.”

We are fighting on every front:
• Over race and justice
• Over gender and identity
• Over immigration, borders, and national security
• Over truth, morality, and the role of faith
• And even over our stance on Israel, our ally and prophetic signpost

And yet the most dangerous war is not the one waged in the headlines...
It’s the one raging in the heart.

πŸ”₯ Lincoln’s Warning, Our Reality

Abraham Lincoln once said:
“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

This is no longer a theory—it’s unfolding before our very eyes.

And here is the sobering truth:

πŸ›‘ Legislation may restrain evil, but only God can transform hearts.

πŸ›‘ Debate can stir minds, but only repentance can heal souls.

πŸ›‘ Political platforms may change policies, but only spiritual revival will change our nation.

πŸ’‘ So What Can We Do?

We don’t need more noise.
We need a national heart check.
Here are five starting points every believer must embrace:

Return to God.
Not just as a last resort—but as a first response. From individuals to families, from churches to communities, we must make God central again.

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” – James 4:8

Repent of Pride.
We must humble ourselves before blaming others. National healing begins when personal pride ends.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray…” – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Revive the Word.
The Bible isn’t just a book for crisis moments. It’s the living truth for everyday life. We must not only quote it—we must live it.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4

Respect Authority.
We honor God when we honor the institutions He has allowed—even when we disagree. Respect doesn’t equal blind loyalty; it reflects humility and obedience.

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities…” – Romans 13:1

Rebuild Relationships.
Before we aim to "fix" Washington, let’s rebuild our own homes, churches, and neighborhoods. Listen. Forgive. Speak life. Love again.

“If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” – Romans 12:18

πŸ™ It’s Not About Left or Right — It’s About Right or Wrong

Let’s stop asking, “Who’s right?”
And start asking, “Are we right with God?”

The answer to America’s unrest won’t come through the next election.
It will come through repentance, revival, and a return to righteousness.

πŸ“’ The Revival Starts With You

The question is not whether our nation can be healed.
The question is: Will we do what it takes?

There is still time.
There is still hope.
But healing begins at the altar—not at the ballot box.

Will you kneel before God today and ask Him to begin the change in you?

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” – Psalm 33:12

🎬 Crumbs from the Master’s Table – A Word for the Weary

An Exclusive Video Preview of a Life-Giving Message

There’s something unmistakably sacred about weariness. It softens our defenses. It breaks through pride. It forces us to reach out—to cry out—for something more than platitudes and performance. And it’s to the weary soul that Crumbs from the Master’s Table (2nd Edition) speaks loudest.

But now, that message is no longer just in pages.
It’s coming to life on screen.

πŸŽ₯ A Video That Speaks to the Heart

“Crumbs from the Master’s Table – A Word for the Weary” is the upcoming video trailer for the new edition of James Langston’s deeply moving devotional. Through carefully curated imagery, raw honesty, and timeless Scripture, the video preview captures what many readers feel but can’t always articulate:

“I believe in God. But I’m tired. And Heaven feels quiet.”

This is not a commercial. It’s a wake-up call—a sacred pause amid chaos. It’s for the person who’s been praying but hasn’t yet received an answer. It’s for the one who’s still standing… barely. And it’s for every believer who’s ever wondered if a single crumb of hope is enough to carry them through.

πŸ“– The Message Behind the Media

Based on Matthew 15:27, where a Canaanite woman pleads for her daughter’s healing and says, “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table,” this book (and now video) is a bold and beautiful invitation to persistent faith.

Just like her, many today are:

  • Calling out with unanswered prayers

  • Trusting when nothing makes sense

  • Waiting at the feet of Jesus—believing that even a little from Him is more than enough

The video doesn’t shy away from pain—it walks you through it.
It doesn’t offer easy answers—it offers truth that holds firm when nothing else will.
It doesn’t glamorize the struggle—it redeems it.

πŸ”₯ What to Expect in the Video

  • Visually immersive storytelling that reflects the heartache and hope within the book

  • Lines and excerpts pulled directly from the pages to give viewers a taste of what’s coming

  • A call to action that invites weary souls back to the only source of sustaining grace: Jesus Christ

Whether you're a pastor, a parent, a student, or simply a believer feeling the weight of the world—you'll see yourself in this video. You’ll see your struggle. And more importantly, you’ll see the Savior who responds to faith, even when it’s holding on by a thread.

πŸ“… Coming Soon

The book releases mid-July, in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle eBook formats.
The video trailer drops later this week.

Both will be available through our ministry page and Amazon.
We encourage you to share it, watch it with others, and pray with it.
You never know who’s holding on by a thread—and who just needs a crumb of encouragement to stay the course.

✝️ Final Thoughts

This isn’t just media.
It’s ministry.
It’s not a book trailer—it’s a lifeline.

In these unpredictable times, people don’t need entertainment. They need truth that penetrates the fog. They need reminders that God still sees, still speaks, and still sustains.

This video, like the book, is our way of putting that reminder into the hands—and hearts—of those who need it most.

πŸ“ Stay connected for updates: http://pomitaly.homestead.com
πŸŽ₯ Watch for the trailer.
πŸ“š Get ready for the book.
πŸ’” And if you’re weary… take heart. Help is on the way.

πŸ“’ Are You a Slave and Don’t Even Know It?

By James Langston
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries | pomitaly.homestead.com

Slavery.

It’s a word loaded with pain, history, and hard truth. Defined simply, slavery is “a condition in which one human being is owned by another.” It strips away choice, freedom, and humanity.

But here’s what many don’t realize:
Slavery still exists.
Not with chains and shackles, but with habits, systems, and silent submission.
You may not be owned by a person, but are you ruled by something else?

This afternoon, a thought kept circling in my mind like a warning siren:

“We are all—whether intentionally or unintentionally—dependent on something or someone.”

Jobs. Careers. Schedules. Phones. Likes. Approval. Alarm clocks. News cycles. Algorithms. Addictions. Circumstances. Convenience. Comfort. The list goes on.
And before we know it, we’re not just using these things—we’re obeying them.

We’re no longer thinking—we’re reacting.
No longer leading—we’re following.
No longer choosing—we’re copying.

It’s called the herd mentality, and it’s the modern mask of mental slavery.

πŸ‘΅πŸ½ My Great-Great Grandmother Knew Better

I never met my grandmother three generations removed. She was born into physical slavery.
But I did know her daughter—my great-great-grandmother. And in a very real sense, she helped lead me to the Lord.

I still remember her eyes. Her voice. Her wisdom.
She’d say:

“Boy, use your brain. Don’t let somebody else do your thinking.”

That stuck with me. It still rings louder today than ever before.

Because in today’s world, we’ve traded wisdom for noise, truth for trends, and discernment for dependence.
We’ve allowed systems to dictate our choices, opinions, even our beliefs.
We’ve become slaves to likes, shares, popularity, convenience, and consensus.

⚠️ Reader, Be Honest: Is This You?

When was the last time you sat still—no phone, no TV, no scrolling—just listening for God?

When was the last time you made a decision because you believed it was right, not because the crowd told you it was?

When did you last say “no” to something just because it didn’t honor your convictions?

You see, it’s not just the culture that enslaves us—it’s our surrender to it.

🧠 The Battle is Mental, But the Bondage is Spiritual

Satan isn’t always loud. He often works through passivity and distraction.
And one of his greatest deceptions is to keep you busy but bound.
Loud but empty.
Active but aimless.

Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18).
But freedom doesn’t come just from knowing truth. It comes from living in it.

You cannot walk in freedom while mimicking the masses.
You cannot know God’s voice if every other voice is louder.
You cannot serve Christ and still be a slave to culture.

πŸ› So What Do You Do?

  1. Pause and Reflect – What owns your attention? What consumes your mind?

  2. Return to the Word – God’s Word renews the mind (Romans 12:2).

  3. Pray for Discernment – Ask God to help you see what’s enslaving you.

  4. Resist the Herd – Truth is often lonely but always liberating.

  5. Reclaim Your Mind – The Holy Spirit will guide you, but not compete for your attention.

✝️ A Final Word

We may not live in the days of chains and cotton fields, but the battle for the soul continues.
This is a war for your mind, your heart, your obedience.

And you have a choice to make:

Will you conform, or will you stand?
Will you follow the herd, or follow the Shepherd?

Jesus didn’t die so we could become sophisticated slaves.
He died so we could live free.

So I’ll ask you again:

Are you a slave… and don’t even know it?

πŸ“… July 1st — When History and Her Story Come Together

By James Langston, Pilgrim Outreach Ministries

As the seventh month of the year begins, many people turn their hearts toward fresh goals, new commitments, and mid-year reflections. But for us at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, July 1st is more than just the first day of a new month—it’s a day woven with historical meaning and personal joy.

🌍 A Day Marked by History

Few dates carry the historical weight that July 1st does. Throughout time, this single day has witnessed events that have shaped nations and reshaped lives:

  • 1863: The Battle of Gettysburg begins—marking a decisive moment in the American Civil War.

  • 1964: The Civil Rights Act is signed into law, banning segregation and advancing long-overdue justice for African Americans and other minorities.

  • 1991: The Warsaw Pact formally disbands, closing a significant chapter of Cold War politics and paving the way for the new Europe.

  • 2002: The International Criminal Court (ICC) is established—creating a global standard for justice against crimes of genocide, war, and human rights abuse.

Each of these moments reminds us that history is not static. It is always unfolding, always pressing forward. The decisions of one generation ripple into the freedom and responsibility of the next.

πŸŽ‰ A Day Marked by Family

But for my wife and me, July 1st holds an even dearer place in our hearts. Twenty-two years ago today, our first grandchild—a girl full of fire, personality, and boundless promise—came leaping (and screaming!) into the world. And from that moment forward, she gave us a new title we wear with pride: Grandparents.

She is the living embodiment of legacy.
She is African American and Ecuadorian.
She represents two rich, resilient heritages.
She is laughter and light in a world that often feels heavy and dim.
She is our history and our future wrapped in one radiant life.

πŸ•Š️ Why It Matters

We often say at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries that ministry begins at home—and days like today prove that. God moves through generations. He speaks through both the pages of history and the cries of a newborn. He shapes the world through laws and legacy, through courtrooms and cradles, through justice and joy.

As we continue our mission work across the Philippines and beyond, we are reminded today of what—and who—we're fighting for. Not just for policies or programs, but for people. For families. For souls. For sons and daughters and granddaughters who deserve a world shaped by faith, hope, and love.

πŸ™ Join Us

On this historic and heartfelt day, we ask you to:

  • Remember the sacrifices made before us.

  • Celebrate the lives that give our work meaning.

  • Support the ministry that brings hope to the overlooked and underserved.

Together, we can do something eternal.

Thank you for standing with us on this day of legacy, liberty, and love.

Title: The Fields Are White — Will You Help Us Bring in the Harvest?

There’s a divine urgency echoing in our hearts today. It’s not just the spirit of the season. It’s the cry of a world in need. A world broken by sin, marred by darkness, and desperate for hope. On this #GivingTuesday, we stand at a crossroad of obedience and opportunity—and we’re inviting you to stand with us.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we are firmly committed to the Great Commission—to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). We’ve received the commission, and we’ve accepted the assignment. We carry the message of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration through Jesus Christ. And now, slowly but surely, God is sending laborers—willing hearts and faithful hands who are prepared to go into the fields of spiritual harvest.

But one thing remains missing: the support of those who will help us sustain this work.

Why This Matters

Across the globe—and particularly in regions like the Philippines, where our outreach has taken deep root—there are hearts ready to hear, families waiting for hope, and communities longing for transformation. The doors are open. The soil is fertile. The fields are truly white to harvest (John 4:35).

Yet, Jesus also said, “The laborers are few.”

We don’t say this lightly. Missions work isn’t easy. It’s costly. Not just in sweat and time, but in resources—fuel, food, Bibles, transportation, housing, and more. We’re not here to entertain or simply do good deeds. We are here to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed. And that calling demands sacrifice, persistence, and support.

That’s where you come in.

This Giving Tuesday, Be a Part of Something Eternal

We are praying for those who will stand with us—not just in word, but in action.

We’re looking for men and women who will link arms with us—back-to-back, shoulder to shoulder, and heart to heart—to bring in the harvest. Maybe you can’t go yourself, but you can send someone. Maybe you can’t preach to crowds, but you can help put a Bible in someone’s hands. Maybe you can’t travel, but your generosity can fuel those who do.

How You Can Help

  1. Give Financially – Your tax-deductible gift makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

  2. Pray Intentionally – Prayer is not a backup plan. It’s our lifeline.

  3. Share the Vision – Tell someone. Post about it. Spread the word.

  4. Join the Team – Reach out if you feel called to participate in missions, locally or abroad.

🎯 Our mission field is ready. Our laborers are rising. But we need your support to keep going.

πŸ–±️ Visit http://pomitaly.homestead.com to learn more or to give today.

Together, we can reach one more soul. Together, we can change one more life. Together, we can declare: "We were here, and we made a difference for eternity."

Thank you for standing with Pilgrim Outreach Ministries this Giving Tuesday—and beyond.

Title: Go Ye Therefore… A Call to Missions and Partnership in the Philippines

Body:

There are moments in life when we feel the nudge of something greater—a tug on the heart that whispers, “There’s more for you to do.”
If you've ever felt that, you may have the heart of a missionary.

But what if you don’t know where to begin?

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we’re on the ground in the Philippines—answering that call daily. We minister to the poor, serve in remote villages, teach God’s Word, and raise up new leaders. And we’re inviting you to be a part of this work.

Our Fivefold Mission Includes:

  1. Evangelism & Outreach:
Preaching the Gospel in local communities, marketplaces, and churches with the love and truth of Christ.

  2. Feeding & Relief Efforts:
Providing food, clothing, and basic necessities to children and families in crisis—many of whom live on less than $2 a day.

  3. Education Sponsorships:
Supporting over 30 school-aged children who would otherwise be unable to attend school due to poverty.

  4. Discipleship & Leadership Training:
Equipping pastors, lay leaders, and new believers to live out and share their faith with confidence and clarity.

  5. Church Planting & Missionary Support:
Establishing new ministries and house churches to reach unreached areas with the life-changing power of the Gospel.

This is more than a mission—it’s a movement.

And the good news? You don’t have to board a plane to be part of it.
Through your prayers, your sharing, and your generous giving, you are helping us reach souls, feed bodies, and build the Kingdom of God right where it’s needed most.

πŸ“ Ready to join us?
Visit our site to learn more and donate: https://pomitaly.homestead.com

Together, we can do what none of us can do alone.

Scripture Inspiration:
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" —Romans 10:14

Thank you for standing with us. The harvest is great—and together, we will reap it.
