πŸ•Š️ Who Are You Talking To? — The Conversation That Matters Most

I passed two people a few days ago. Their conversation was all too familiar…

One said, “I feel like I need to talk to my therapist.”
The other asked, “Why?”
The reply came, “I need someone to talk to about my problems.”

And in that moment, a thought came strong and clear:
Why not talk to Jesus?

Then reality answered back…
Because people would rather talk to someone they can see, than someone they’ve been told is just a “crutch for the weak.”

But what if that assumption is wrong?

In Bible, in Matthew 11:28, Jesus makes an invitation that no human being can match:
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

The Greek word used for “rest” is anapauō—not just a pause… but refreshment, relief from toil, and deep spiritual renewal.

Not temporary coping.
Not surface-level conversation.
But true restoration from the inside out.

Here’s the truth we often overlook:
We spend so much time trying to be understood… that we forget to go to the One who already understands.

We search for answers in voices around us…
While ignoring the Voice that calls us.

The Gospel message is simple, yet life-changing:
We bring the sin, the burden, the brokenness… and He brings the Savior.

This is not about rejecting help from others—
It’s about recognizing that no one can do what Jesus does.

So today, ask yourself:
Who are you really talking to?
And are they able to give you what your soul truly needs?

If you’re tired… weary… carrying more than you should…
There is still an open invitation.

Come as you are.
Talk to Him.
And experience the rest you’ve been searching for.
