In many churches, there comes a sacred moment—the passing of the offering plate. It’s not just about giving… it’s about responding. It’s about seeing a need and choosing to meet it.

Right now, that moment is here.

In the Philippines, the rainy season begins in June. But this is no ordinary rain. Last year, I witnessed downpours so relentless they swallowed entire communities. Floodwaters rose without warning. Mudslides buried what little families had. Roofs collapsed under the weight of water and wind. Power vanished. Fear settled in.

And the people knew—it was only the beginning.

Because after the rains come the typhoons.
After the floods come the earthquakes.
After the winds come destruction that strips homes to their foundations.

This is the reality they face… every single year.

And here’s the truth: we cannot afford to respond after disaster strikes—we must prepare before it comes.

Preparation means:
• Reinforcing shelters
• Securing emergency supplies
• Positioning food, water, and medical resources
• Being ready to respond immediately—not days or weeks later

The gospel is free… but the pipeline to deliver hope, help, and healing is not.
