📖 Does God Still Speak to Us Today?

Throughout Scripture, especially in the Old Testament, we see God speaking audibly and directly to His people. He spoke to Abraham through covenant, to Moses through a burning bush, and to Elijah through a still, small voice. But does God still speak to us in this present day?

I believe He absolutely does.

But perhaps not as frequently or as sensationally as many report. More often than not, I’ve found that God speaks quietly—gently impressing His will upon our hearts rather than booming from the clouds.

📌 Here’s the truth:
We can’t rely solely on our feelings, thoughts, dreams, visions, or even what we hear with our physical ears. Our walk with God must be built on faith.

“The just shall live by faith.”Romans 1:17

And if we call God our Father, we must also learn how to live as His children—listening, trusting, and following.

🕊️ Learning to Hear His Voice

Jesus made it clear:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”John 10:27

Hearing God's voice doesn’t always come through dramatic revelation. It often comes through stillness, through Scripture, through conviction, and through peace that surpasses understanding.

But let’s not miss the core truth:
God has already done everything we need.

  • Jesus is the Source.

  • The Cross is the Means.

If you want to hear Him speak, start by opening His Word. If you want to know His will, begin by drawing closer in prayer and surrender. The Shepherd still speaks—are we still enough to listen?

🌟 Closing Encouragement (Standard for Each Blog Post)
“Let everything we write, say, or do lift up the Name that is above every name—JESUS. In Him, we live. Through Him, we overcome. And by His Spirit, we will finish well.”
