Is Jesus Coming Back Soon? A Question Too Important to Ignore

Over the past nine months, I have received one question more than any other across my desk:
“Pastor, is Jesus coming back soon? And if so—do you know when?”

Scripture answers the second part plainly. Matthew 24:36 tells us that no man knows the day or the hour of the Son of Man’s return. Anyone claiming otherwise is speaking beyond what God has revealed.

But that does not mean we are left without understanding.

Jesus also taught us to discern the signs of the times. While the exact moment remains hidden, there are unmistakable developments that forewarn of something imminent.

So let me ask you—honestly and prayerfully:

Are the conditions of this world, and especially the condition of the human heart, reflective of Genesis 6:5?

That verse tells us that “every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was only evil continually.” When we look around today, it is difficult to deny the parallels.

Consider just a few examples:

  • Violence toward innocent people has become normalized and celebrated

  • Truth is routinely sacrificed for power, influence, and profit

  • Human life is devalued—from the unborn to the elderly

  • Compassion has grown cold, while cruelty is broadcast without shame

  • People harm their fellow man not out of necessity, but out of indifference

These are not isolated incidents. They reflect a heart condition.

Friend, this should serve as a wakeup call.

Jesus is coming again—and sooner than many are willing to admit. And when He comes, neutrality will not exist. As in the days of Noah, you were either in the boat, or you were not. There was no middle ground then—and there will be none when Christ returns.

The most important question is not when He is coming.
The question is: Are you ready?

When God Opens a Door, Someone Has to Walk Through It

The world is changing rapidly. Nations are unsettled. Leadership is fractured. And millions of people are searching for meaning in places that can never satisfy the soul.

In moments like these, the Gospel does not become less relevant—it becomes essential.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we are focused on one clear priority: bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the Philippines. This is not about expansion or ambition. It is about obedience. About stepping through doors God has already opened.

Before us are 5,821,000 people—each with a story, a struggle, and an eternal destiny. They are not statistics. They are souls. And Scripture reminds us that faith does not remain idle when the need is clear.

The Gospel advances when ordinary people say yes to an extraordinary God.

We invite you to be part of what God is doing:

  • By praying for open hearts and protection

  • By standing in faith with those on the ground

  • By partnering as the Lord leads you

There are many ways to invest in this world—but only one investment reaches beyond it. When you give toward the Gospel, the return is eternal.

The World Is Stirring—But Are We Discerning?

There is a growing hunger across the world—especially among young people—for something real, something grounded, something true. Prayer gatherings are increasing. Bibles are being opened again. Conversations about faith are resurfacing in places once silent.

But let me say this carefully and lovingly: spiritual activity is not the same as spiritual discernment.

We are living in a time where emotion is celebrated, but wisdom is often neglected. Scripture warns us not only to be awake—but to be watchful. Not only to feel—but to test. Not only to gather—but to understand the times in which we live.

Revival without discernment becomes confusion. Passion without truth becomes misdirection. And faith without obedience becomes noise.

This is why we must return—not to trends, not to personalities, not to platforms—but to the Word of God. It alone anchors us when the world shakes. It alone reveals what God is doing and what He is warning against.

Now is not the hour for spiritual sleepwalking.
Now is the time to discern the times and respond in faith.

🌍 A Divine Mandate to the Philippines — Help Us Reach Millions With the Gospel

Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International is a faith-based ministry born out of obedience to God’s call.

In 2011, God gave clear instructions to James Langston, a retired U.S. Navy veteran: proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Philippines. What once seemed impossible has now become both the mandate and burden of this ministry. Doors have opened, faith has been stretched, and God has confirmed this calling time and again.

Before us are 5,821,000 precious souls who need to hear the saving message of Jesus Christ.

We humbly ask:
🙏 Please pray for us
🤝 Please extend your faith toward us
❤️ And prayerfully consider supporting our missionary efforts

If you are looking for a sound investment, there is no greater one than investing in the propagation of the Gospel. Eternity is the return.

📘 A Timely Wake-Up Call for a World Searching for Answers
Prophecy
by James Langston

The world is searching for answers—but far too often, it is searching in all the wrong places.

In Prophecy, James Langston delivers what may be his most urgent and necessary work to date. This is not a book written to sensationalize the future or stir fear, but to bring clarity, biblical grounding, and spiritual discernment to a generation living in unprecedented uncertainty.

If there is one book out of all those I have written that you need to read, this is it.

What Prophecy Is About

At its core, Prophecy calls readers back to a biblical understanding of prophecy—not as spectacle, but as God’s revealed truth spoken into real-world conditions. The message is both timeless and unmistakably current.

In the Prologue, readers are introduced to twelve prophecies that are unfolding even as these words are being written. In biblical numerology, the number twelve represents government—and that is no coincidence. One of the greatest crises facing the world today is not a lack of intelligence, innovation, or power, but a lack of godly leadership in government.

This book speaks directly to:

  • The spiritual vacuum in modern leadership

  • The role of prophecy as both foretelling and forthtelling

  • How nations drift when they abandon God’s order

  • Why discerning the times matters now more than ever

  • The responsibility of believers to stay watchful, grounded, and faithful

Prophecy is sober, Scripture-anchored, and unmistakably on point. It challenges readers—especially those in uniform, leadership, and public service—to reconsider where true authority, wisdom, and guidance come from.

Peace That Guards the Heart

One of the greatest battles we face each day is not what happens around us—but what happens within us.

Long before a word is spoken or a decision is made, the mind begins to race. Thoughts pile up. Worries multiply. We replay conversations, imagine outcomes, and rehearse fears that may never come to pass. By the time the day truly begins, many hearts are already exhausted.

God never intended for your heart to live under constant siege.

Peace, as Scripture presents it, is not fragile or circumstantial. Biblical peace is not the absence of trouble, noise, or uncertainty—it is the active presence of God standing guard over your inner life. It is a peace that does not depend on perfect conditions, but on a faithful God.

You were never meant to carry everything alone.

When anxiety tightens its grip, God does not shame you for feeling it. Instead, He invites you to bring it to Him—honestly, fully, and without pretense. What overwhelms you does not overwhelm Him.

You don’t have to solve everything today.
You don’t have to control tomorrow.
You only have to bring your heart to God—and He promises to keep it.

📖 Philippians 4:6–7 says,
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

🙏 Morning Prayer

Father, I bring my anxious thoughts and restless worries to You today. Guard my heart and mind with Your peace—the kind that cannot be explained by circumstances. Teach me to pray before I panic, to trust before I fear, and to rest before I rush ahead. I place every concern in Your hands and choose faith over worry. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
