A Simple Way to Support the Gospel—Right Where You Are

Did you know that X has a little-known feature called Tips—and that it can directly support missionary work around the world?

The Tips feature was created to make giving simple, immediate, and personal. It allows followers to support the voices and missions they believe in with just a few taps. No long forms. No complicated steps. Just generosity in motion.

For us at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, Tips provide a practical way for friends and partners to help us reach further into the Philippines with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your support helps open doors for ministry—bringing hope, prayer, encouragement, and the Word of God to families and communities that are hungry for truth.

Here’s how you can take advantage of it:

Your gift, no matter the size, helps us do more for the Lord’s work. Doors are opening—but before we step through them, we need your prayers, your faith, and your consistent support.

Why not begin this weekend by sowing a seed into eternal ground? Together, we can go further—because the Gospel is worth it.

With gratitude and faith,
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International

Two Deaths Per Second. One Eternal Question.

Around 150,000–160,000 people die every single day worldwide. That is nearly 100 people every minute, two souls every second, stepping into eternity.

What we do not know is how many of them ever heard the Gospel…
How many were told that Jesus Christ loves them, died for them, and offers eternal life?

Scripture asks a sobering question:

“How shall they hear without a preacher?”
Not just a pastor behind a pulpit—but a willing voice, a faithful witness, a messenger of Christ.

The world often says, “What we need now is love.”
But love without Christ cannot save.
What the world desperately needs is the love of Jesus Christ—the only love that forgives sin, restores the broken, and redeems the lost.

I say this without fear of contradiction: there are people right now who would say “YES” to Jesus Christ—if someone would simply tell them.

Help us tell them.
Help us reach even a handful of those 150–160 thousand souls today with the life-changing Gospel.

Together, we can be that voice.

✝️ QUESTION OF THE WEEK
From Michael, 17 — Toledo, Ohio
January 10, 2026
γ…€
“Hello Pastor James,

I believe in supporting missionary ministries. Unfortunately, my church — and even my parents — do not. They say these ministries are only in it for the money. I don’t believe that.

I truly want to support your ministry, but I also want to be wise. How can I be sure that you are doing what you say you’re doing? I’m not asking presumptuously or out of disrespect — I genuinely want to know.

Thank you for all that you are doing for the Lord.”
γ…€
Hi Michael — thank you for asking this question. It is thoughtful, mature, and biblical. Scripture tells us to “prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” Your desire for accountability is not skepticism — it is stewardship.
γ…€
Here is the truth, plainly stated: no ministry should ever be offended by honest questions. The work of the Gospel thrives in the light, not in secrecy.
γ…€
Here are wise ways to discern a missionary ministry’s integrity:
γ…€
✨ Transparency — Are finances, mission goals, and outcomes clearly shared?
✨ Fruit — Are lives being helped, changed, healed, and reached with the Gospel?
✨ Sacrifice — Do the leaders live humbly, or lavishly at the expense of others?
✨ Accountability — Is the ministry answerable to others, not just itself?
✨ Consistency — Does the message match the mission, year after year?
γ…€
True missionary work is not about profit — it’s about obedience. Those who labor in the harvest fields often do so at great personal cost, not personal gain.
γ…€
You are not wrong to question. You are right to care. And you are honoring God by wanting your giving to matter.
γ…€
If you ever want to understand what a ministry does, ask. Read. Pray. Observe. A ministry that is truly serving Christ will welcome scrutiny, because its confidence rests in God, not appearances.
γ…€
Michael, thank you for your heart — not just to give, but to give wisely. May God guide you, and may He bless every seed you sow in faith.

I would like to send you a copy of the ministry's newest book, πŸ“˜ You Say This, But What Does the Bible Say About It?

Please check with your parents to see if that's alright, as I will need your address.

WEEKEND REFLECTION — WHEN FAITH PUTS ON WORK BOOTS

Weekends are when most folks finally stop long enough to catch their breath.
The tools are set down. The uniform comes off. The alarm clock goes quiet.

But for millions around the world, the struggle doesn’t take the weekend off.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, we don’t just talk about faith — we roll up our sleeves and live it. We go where the need is real, the roads are rough, and hope is hanging by a thread. From feeding hungry families and helping children stay in school, to medical outreach, gospel preaching, and disaster response — this ministry is built on obedience, not comfort.

This is blue-collar faith.
Faith that shows up tired but willing.
Faith that gives even when it’s a sacrifice.
Faith that understands that doing nothing is not an option.

If God has ever helped you make it through when the odds were stacked against you…
If you believe the Gospel is more than words on a page…
If you know deep down that now is the time to act

Then this weekend, we invite you to stand with us.

Your giving helps us:
• Reach forgotten villages
• Feed hungry families
• Provide medical and dental care
• Preach Christ where He’s rarely heard
• Restore dignity, hope, and life

Don’t wait. Don’t scroll past the call. Be part of what God is doing — right now.

The Real Change America Needs

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” — Jeremiah 17:9

As Americans, many of us appreciate the efforts of Donald J. Trump to Make America Great Again. Policies, executive actions, and reforms can address broken systems, restore order, and restrain chaos. But here is a sobering truth the Bible makes unmistakably clear: lasting change never comes from the outside in—it comes from the inside out.

Political leadership can treat symptoms: economic instability, border concerns, lawlessness, and corruption. But the root cause of every national decline is not merely policy failure—it is sin in the human heart. Jeremiah reminds us that the heart itself is the problem, and no legislation, party, or presidency can cure what only Christ can heal.

History bears this out. Nations experience cycles of reform, prosperity, and decline. When moral restraint weakens and spiritual truth is rejected, no amount of external correction can sustain righteousness. Without repentance and regeneration, reform is temporary.

That is why this present moment—this calm before the storm—must not be wasted.

Now is the time for the Church to rise, not retreat.
Now is the time to proclaim the Gospel boldly, lovingly, and unapologetically.
Now is the time to shine light into darkness while the doors are still open.

If we witness these historic changes and remain silent about the only power that can truly transform a nation—Jesus Christ—then shame on us. Revival does not begin in the White House. It begins in the heart, at the altar, and through the proclamation of the Gospel.

America does not need better image management.
America needs new hearts.

Reflecting on the News as We Enter January 9, 2026 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

As we step into the 9th day of this New Year, it’s good to pause and reflect on some of the major headlines shaping our nation and the world so far in 2026 — reminding us how quickly history moves and how much prayer, wisdom, and faith are needed in the days ahead.

πŸ“Œ A Few U.S. News Highlights So Far:
• The United States executed a significant military operation in Venezuela, capturing President NicolΓ‘s Maduro and his wife; they now face federal charges such as narco-terrorism and weapons offenses in a Manhattan court.
• The U.S. Senate advanced a War Powers Resolution aimed at checking presidential authority in foreign military actions, reflecting deep legislative and constitutional debates.
• Domestic tensions flared after an ICE officer fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, prompting local protests and scrutiny of immigration enforcement practices.
• Recent policy shifts include changes to federal childhood vaccine recommendations, affecting public health discourse.
• The U.S. has also seen political friction with global allies, including criticism over military actions and foreign policy strategies.

These events remind us that more is to follow in the coming 357 days — in world affairs and in the life of our communities. Are you ready to face the rest of 2026 with hope and faith?

As believers called to pray without ceasing, let us intercede for our nation’s leaders, our neighborhoods, and the hurting in our world.
