Week 15 — Hold On to His Hand

Welcome to the 15th week of the year — April 12–19, 2026.

As this week begins, I pray that God will give you strength through each and every “hiccup” you encounter. Life has a way of catching us off guard—unexpected moments, sudden challenges, and shifting circumstances. But even in the surprises, nothing takes God by surprise.

So whatever this week holds, hold on.

Hold on to your faith.
Hold on to His promises.
And above all, do NOT let go of the nail-scarred hand of Jesus Christ.

There will be highs and lows. There will be moments when you feel steady—and moments when you feel shaken. But in every step, He is there. Not distant… not unaware… but present, guiding, strengthening, and sustaining you.

In your patience and endurance, I pray the Lord will bless you with peace that calms your spirit, joy that lifts your heart, faith that anchors your soul, patience that steadies your steps, and wisdom that directs your path.

You may not control what comes your way this week—but you can choose who you walk with through it.

And when you walk with Jesus, you never walk alone.

Closing Thought:
This week may test you—but it can also strengthen you. Stay anchored, stay faithful, and keep your hand in His.

Good Morning — A New Day, A Fresh Grace

As we begin this Sunday, April 12, 2026, remember this simple but powerful truth:

Today is not just another day—it is a gift.

A fresh opportunity to walk closer with God, to realign your heart, and to step into His purpose for your life. Yesterday is behind you. The mistakes, the worries, the unanswered questions—they do not define this day.

God’s mercies are new this morning.

No matter what you face today, you do not face it alone. The same God who carried you yesterday is already ahead of you today—making a way, opening doors, and strengthening you for whatever lies ahead.

So take a moment… breathe… and place this day into His hands.

🙏 Let’s Pray Together:

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts for the gift of this new day. Thank You for life, for breath, and for another opportunity to draw closer to You.

Lord, guide our steps today. Guard our hearts and minds. Give us wisdom in every decision, peace in every situation, and strength for every challenge.

Help us to walk in love, to speak with grace, and to reflect Your light in everything we do. When we feel weak, remind us that You are our strength. When we feel uncertain, remind us that You are our guide.

Bless every person reading this today. Meet them right where they are. Provide for their needs, heal what is broken, and restore what has been lost.

And above all, Lord, keep us mindful of You in every moment.

We give this day to You—fully and completely.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Closing Thought:
Walk into this day with faith, not fear—God is already there waiting for you.

“No Other gods Before Me — A Quiet Warning We Often Miss”

📖 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” — Exodus 20:3

Did you know that anything can become a “god” in your life?

Sometimes it’s intentional. Other times, it happens quietly… subtly… almost unnoticed. But the outcome is the same—you begin to place more importance on that thing than on your relationship with God.

Many will shake their heads and say, “That’s absurd.”
But facts are facts.

How many parents will defend their children tooth and nail when they are wronged—yet remain silent when the Lord’s name is taken in vain?

You may say, “That’s different.”
But how?

Others will place their faith and future in the hands of people—a doctor, banker, lawyer, teacher, boss, or even a spouse—but seldom take time to truly pray about it.

It may seem small… even harmless.

But when you begin to lean away from depending on the Lord in everything, you may soon find yourself not depending on Him for anything.

“Not me,” you say.

Those same words echo through history—spoken once by a man named Peter, who was certain of his devotion… until he wasn’t.

The truth is, anything that replaces God at the center of your trust, your time, or your devotion has quietly taken His place.

And the danger is not always loud—it’s often silent.

Closing Thought:
What we prioritize reveals what we truly worship.

Question:
What in your life might be quietly competing for the place that belongs only to God?

What Are You Doing With the “Junk” in Your Life?

Have you ever paused long enough to take an honest, unbiased look at your life?

Not the version you show others.
Not the version you convince yourself is “good enough.”
But the real, unfiltered truth.

If you have, what did you do with what you found?

Did you hide it?
Sweep it under the rug?
Pretend it didn’t exist—or didn’t matter?
Or worse… did you do nothing at all?

Here’s the truth many don’t want to face: bad stuff doesn’t just die—it hides.

It hides in our thoughts, our habits, our relationships, and our decisions. It quietly weighs us down, holding us back from the life God intended for us to live.

And yet, so many keep carrying what God never asked them to carry.

Isn’t it time to deal with what’s pulling you down instead of lifting you up?

But how?

Not by willpower alone.
Not by ignoring it.
Not by pretending everything is fine.

There’s only one way that truly works.

As the old song says:
“Turn it over to Jesus, and He’ll work it out.”

What you can’t fix, He can.
What you can’t carry, He will.
What you can’t change, He can transform.

Help is not far away.
It’s not complicated.
It’s only a prayer away.

Today can be the day you stop hiding—and start healing.

We love you at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, and we are praying for you.

When the Noise Gets Loud, Listen for the Whisper of God

In a world filled with constant updates, breaking news, opinions, arguments, and endless distractions, it has become increasingly difficult to hear what truly matters. Everywhere we turn, there is another voice demanding our attention—another headline, another crisis, another perspective pulling us in different directions.

But in the middle of all this noise, there is still a voice that speaks with clarity, authority, and peace—the voice of God.

The question is not whether God is speaking. The question is: Are we listening?

Scripture reminds us in 1 Kings 19:12 that God was not in the wind, nor the earthquake, nor the fire—but in a “still small voice.” That has not changed. God does not compete with the chaos; He calls us out of it.

Too many today are overwhelmed, not because God is silent, but because the world is loud.

We live in a time where:

  • Truth is often replaced with opinion
  • Conviction is replaced with comfort
  • Faith is replaced with fear

And yet, God is still calling His people to return—to refocus, to realign, and to rediscover His voice.

You don’t need more noise. You need more nearness to God.

When you step away from the distractions, even for a moment, something powerful begins to happen. Your spirit settles. Your mind clears. And suddenly, what once felt confusing becomes clear.

God’s voice will never lead you into confusion—it leads you into peace, direction, and purpose.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, consider this:

  • Turn off the noise
  • Step into prayer
  • Open His Word
  • Sit quietly before Him

You may be surprised at how quickly clarity returns.

The world is shouting.
But God is still whispering.

And His whisper carries more truth, power, and hope than all the noise combined.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we are committed to helping people reconnect with that voice—through the Word, through prayer, and through real, on-the-ground ministry both here in the United States and in the Philippines.

If this message has spoken to your heart, we invite you to learn more, partner with us, and help us continue reaching lives across the globe.
