I just want to ask something I’ve been too embarrassed to say out loud…
I pray every night. I read my Bible. I’m trying so hard to do the right things. But sometimes I still feel empty, like God is far away. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong?”

First, please know this: your question is honest, brave, and more common than you think. Many young people are walking through the same valley, wondering why their hearts don’t always “feel” God even when they are seeking Him.

Here’s the truth I want you to hold tightly:
Feeling distant from God does NOT mean you’ve failed Him.
ㅤ
Sometimes God teaches us to trust Him not through feelings, but through faith.
Sometimes the quiet seasons are where He grows us the most.
Sometimes the silence is not absence — it’s an invitation to lean in deeper.

Remember these three things:
✨ God is closer than your breath, even when your emotions say otherwise.
✨ Your worth isn’t measured by how you feel, but by what God has already spoken over you.
✨ Seasons of emptiness are often the doorway to deeper spiritual maturity.
