What If Your Compassion Could Travel Where You Cannot?
There is a family somewhere in the Philippines whom you will probably never meet.
You may never know their names.
You may never sit across the table and share a meal with them.
You may never hear their children laugh.
You may never walk through their community, shake their hands, hear their stories, or personally see the challenges they face.
But you can still make a difference in their lives.
That is one of the beautiful things about missions.
Your compassion can go places your feet may never go.
🌎 WE CAN GO WHERE YOU CANNOT
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International exists to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ—and practical expressions of His love—to people who need both.
For those who cannot travel with us, we can be:
👀 Your eyes—seeing the needs firsthand.
👂 Your ears—listening to the stories, struggles, hopes, and prayers of the people.
👣 Your feet—going into communities you may never personally visit.
🗣️ Your mouthpiece—sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and reminding people that they have not been forgotten.
That is why we have said for years:
“We are your eyes, ears, mouths, and feet in Asia.”
You may never board the airplane.
You may never pack the missionary suitcase.
You may never walk the streets or enter the homes.
But together, we can go.
⚓ FROM THE U.S. NAVY TO THE MISSION FIELD
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International is led by Senior Pastor and founder James Langston, a retired United States Navy veteran who served his country for 27 years.
But retirement from military service did not mean retirement from service.
The uniform changed.
The mission changed.
The Commander changed.
But the desire to serve remained.
Today, that service continues through missionary and outreach work with a simple purpose:
REACH ONE MORE SOUL. HELP ONE MORE FAMILY. MAKE ONE MORE DIFFERENCE.
❤️ YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW SOMEONE TO CARE ABOUT THEM
Sometimes we look at suffering thousands of miles away and think:
“But what can I possibly do?”
You can do something.
Maybe you cannot change an entire nation.
Maybe you cannot help every struggling family.
Maybe you cannot solve poverty, rebuild every damaged home, feed every hungry child, educate every student, or meet every need.
Neither can we.
But we can start with one.
One family.
One child.
One student.
One community.
One meal.
One Bible.
One act of kindness.
One opportunity to tell someone:
“YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN.”
And when enough people decide to help just one, something extraordinary begins to happen.
Lives change.
🤝 YOUR HANDS HERE CAN TOUCH A LIFE THERE
This is where you come in.
When you pray, you become part of the mission.
When you share our work, you become part of the mission.
When you give, you become part of the mission.
You may never see the moment when someone receives help made possible through your generosity.
You may never hear their “Salamat po.”
You may never see their smile.
But God sees it.
“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” — Proverbs 19:17 (KJV)
Compassion does not require an introduction.
Love does not require a passport.
And generosity does not require us to personally know the person whose life it touches.
It simply requires someone willing to say:
“LORD, HOW CAN I HELP?”
🇵🇭 WHY NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE—TODAY?
Somewhere in the Philippines, there is someone you may never meet.
But perhaps because you prayed—
because you shared—
because you gave—
their tomorrow can look a little different from their today.
We cannot promise to change everyone's circumstances.
But together, we can make a difference one person, one family, and one soul at a time.
