Do you remember those church services when the preacher proclaimed God's Word, the Hammond organ followed every rise and fall of his voice, and somebody in the congregation couldn't help shouting “AMEN!” or “HALLELUJAH!”?
Those are the sounds of church I remember from childhood. Today, I'm delighted to share a short sermon that brings a little of that atmosphere back to life.

🦁 The Lion Roars—But the Word Gives Us Hope
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
But the Bible also tells us:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 (KJV)
There is a difference between recognizing the enemy's schemes and living in fear of them. Scripture calls believers to submit to God, resist the devil, and stand firm in faith. Our confidence is not in our own strength, but in Christ and His finished work at Calvary.

🎹 The Church Sounds I Grew Up With
As a boy, I remember how the organist seemed to know exactly where the preacher was going. When the sermon grew quiet, the organ softened. When the preacher lifted his voice, the organ swelled. Then came the congregational responses: “Amen!” “Glory to God!” “Preach!”
For this experiment, I began with a simple recording of my own preaching voice. Using Suno, I sought to recreate that familiar atmosphere of organ-backed Pentecostal preaching and congregational encouragement. Hearing the result brought back memories of home and church services from years gone by.
This isn't meant to replace the fellowship of a local church. It's one more way to share a message of biblical hope and invite others to hear the Gospel.
