🙏 WE NEED YOU ON OUR PRAYER TEAM!
🌏 PILGRIM OUTREACH MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL INVITES YOU TO BECOME AN ACTIVE PRAYER PARTNER—STARTING TODAY!
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” — James 5:16 (KJV)
YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRAVEL TO THE PHILIPPINES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES!
You don't need a passport. You don't need an airline ticket. You don't need to be a pastor, missionary, evangelist, or Bible scholar.
You simply need a willing heart, a little time, and a desire to see God change lives.
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International (POMI) is inviting YOU to become an active Prayer Partner!
And here's the wonderful news: YOU CAN START TODAY!
We're not asking everyone to become a missionary overseas. We're inviting believers everywhere to become part of the missionary work God has entrusted to us.
Because although everyone cannot go, everyone can pray.
And prayer can go where our feet have not yet traveled!
🌍 WHO ARE WE?
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International is a full-Gospel, interdenominational Christian missionary and evangelistic ministry founded by Pastor James Langston, a retired United States Navy veteran, author, and minister of the Gospel.
Our calling is simple but powerful:
To reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, demonstrate His love through practical acts of compassion, and help individuals and families grow in their relationship with God.
Our ministry has been involved in missionary outreach for many years, including approximately two decades of ministry connected with Italy.
Today, our missionary emphasis is increasingly focused on the Philippines and the surrounding nations of Asia.
We believe that the Great Commission was never intended for a select few Christians.
Jesus said:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...” — Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
That command belongs to the Church.
And we are inviting you to help us fulfill it!
🇵🇭 WHERE ARE WE?
Our current missionary field is the Philippines, a nation of thousands of islands, vibrant communities, rich cultural traditions, and millions of people with different spiritual, educational, economic, and physical needs.
Since March 29, 2025, our ministry has been actively engaged in expanding its missionary efforts in the Philippines.
Our vision reaches beyond one community, one city, or one island.
We want to reach villages, neighborhoods, schools, families, and communities where opportunities exist to share the Gospel and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.
We also have a broader vision for reaching other parts of Asia as God opens the doors.
But before missionaries can go into a community, they need something more important than transportation, equipment, or supplies.
They need prayer!
❤️ WHAT DO WE DO?
Our missionary work is not limited to preaching behind a pulpit.
We believe the Gospel should be proclaimed with our mouths and demonstrated through our actions.
Our ministry's seven major areas of outreach include:
Church Planting: Establishing and strengthening local Christian fellowships where believers can worship, grow, and disciple others.
Mobile Medical and Dental Outreach: Working toward providing accessible medical and dental assistance to underserved communities.
Adopt-a-School Programs: Helping children obtain educational opportunities, school supplies, uniforms, and other necessities.
Adopt-an-Orphanage Programs: Supporting vulnerable children through compassionate, Christ-centered assistance.
Tent Revivals and Evangelistic Outreach: Bringing the Gospel directly into communities through preaching, worship, prayer, and personal ministry.
Youth Facilities and Outreach: Creating opportunities to mentor young people, encourage godly living, and help them discover their God-given potential.
Christian Discipleship: Teaching believers how to grow spiritually, understand Scripture, and become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
Alongside these major initiatives, we also assist families with food, distribute Christian literature and Bibles, encourage those facing hardships, and help meet practical needs whenever resources permit.
Our objective is not simply to give someone something for today. It is to introduce them to Someone who can change their eternity!
His name is JESUS CHRIST!
🤝 HOW DO WE DO IT?
We do missionary work through faith, prayer, personal involvement, Christian partnerships, voluntary donations, and the generosity of people who believe in what God has called us to accomplish.
Some partners contribute financially.
Others provide materials, equipment, school supplies, or other resources.
Still others share our ministry messages, introduce us to potential supporters, and help spread awareness.
And then there are our Prayer Partners.
They may never board an airplane, but they help carry the mission forward through prayer.
Our ministry does not use donated missionary funds for personal financial gain. Contributions designated for missionary work support the ministry's mission and outreach.
Likewise, royalties from Pastor James Langston's books are directed toward supporting missionary efforts.
Our philosophy remains:
“Help us help them—one soul at a time.”
⏰ WHEN DO WE DO IT?
Missionary work is not something we do only on Sundays, holidays, or special occasions.
The needs of people do not operate on a schedule. Neither should our compassion.
We minister as opportunities arise, resources become available, and circumstances permit.
Sometimes that means organizing evangelistic activities.
Sometimes it means assisting a struggling family.
Sometimes it means helping children stay in school.
Sometimes it means praying with someone who has lost hope.
And sometimes it means responding to circumstances created by flooding, typhoons, sickness, or other unexpected difficulties.
Our missionary efforts are ongoing, and we are preparing for an expanded period of ministry in the Philippines and Asia beginning October 31, 2026.
That is why we need Prayer Partners NOW—not someday!
✝️ WHY DO WE DO IT?
Because Jesus Christ commanded us to go.
Because souls matter.
Because children deserve hope.
Because struggling families need encouragement.
Because the Gospel must be preached.
And because the love of God should never be confined within the four walls of a church building.
Jesus said:
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15 (KJV)
We do not believe missionary work is about building a personal reputation, accumulating wealth, or becoming famous.
We believe it is about obedience to God and compassion for people.
Every child matters.
Every family matters.
Every village matters.
Every soul matters to God!
🙏 WHAT EXACTLY IS A PRAYER PARTNER?
A Prayer Partner is someone who voluntarily commits to regularly praying for a missionary, ministry, or missionary outreach.
A Prayer Partner is more than an occasional well-wisher.
They are someone who intentionally remembers the missionary work before God.
They pray for the missionaries' spiritual strength, physical health, protection, wisdom, provision, and effectiveness.
They pray for doors to open, for lives to be changed, and for the Gospel to reach those who need to hear it.
A Prayer Partner may live thousands of miles from the missionary field, yet through prayer, they become an important part of what God is doing there.
The Apostle Paul understood the importance of believers praying for missionary work.
“Brethren, pray for us.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:25 (KJV)
Think about that!
The great Apostle Paul, who traveled extensively preaching the Gospel and establishing churches, recognized his need for the prayers of fellow believers.
If Paul needed prayer, how much more should missionaries today appreciate and depend upon the prayers of God's people?
🔥 WHAT DOES AN ACTIVE PRAYER PARTNER DO?
We are asking our Prayer Partners to make these commitments as they are able:
🙏 PRAY FOR THE MISSIONARIES.
Pray for our health, safety, wisdom, spiritual strength, and daily guidance. Ask God to protect our families and give us courage to remain faithful to His calling.
🙏 PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES.
Pray for children, parents, grandparents, students, teachers, local leaders, and families facing financial and personal difficulties.
🙏 PRAY FOR OPEN DOORS.
Ask God to provide opportunities to enter new communities, establish relationships, plant churches, conduct evangelistic meetings, and share His Word.
🙏 PRAY FOR OUR CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMS.
Pray for the students receiving educational assistance and for the expansion of our sponsorship efforts so more children can be helped.
🙏 PRAY FOR FINANCIAL PROVISION.
Ask God to raise up faithful supporters who can help provide food, educational supplies, Bibles, medical assistance, transportation, equipment, and other missionary necessities.
🙏 PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL FRUIT.
Pray that people will hear the Gospel, respond to Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and become disciples who share His love with others.
🙏 PRAY FOR PROTECTION DURING NATURAL DISASTERS.
The Philippines regularly faces typhoons, flooding, earthquakes, and other natural hazards. Pray for protection, recovery, and opportunities to help affected communities.
🙏 SHARE THE MINISTRY WITH OTHERS.
An active Prayer Partner can also invite friends, relatives, churches, Bible study groups, and fellow believers to join in prayer.
You may never know this side of eternity how many lives were touched because you faithfully prayed!
💪 WHY ARE PRAYER PARTNERS SO CRITICAL?
Because missionary work involves challenges that cannot be overcome by human strength alone.
There are physical challenges.
There are financial challenges.
There are transportation challenges.
There are language and cultural differences.
There are unexpected delays, emergencies, and spiritual battles.
And there are moments when missionaries need encouragement just like everyone else.
Consider the words of Jesus:
“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38 (KJV)
Notice something important.
Jesus did not simply tell His followers to recognize the need.
He told them to PRAY!
Prayer is not an afterthought to missionary work.
It is an essential part of missionary work.
Your prayers can encourage those serving in difficult places.
Your prayers can ask God to provide wisdom when decisions must be made.
Your prayers can support the work of reaching communities with the Gospel.
And your prayers can help sustain missionaries when the journey becomes difficult.
We may be the feet carrying the Gospel into communities, but you can be among the faithful believers helping support those steps through prayer!
❤️ CAN A PRAYER PARTNER ALSO GIVE FINANCIALLY?
Absolutely!
However, let us make something perfectly clear:
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE MONEY TO BECOME A PRAYER PARTNER!
We welcome your prayers whether you are financially able to contribute or not.
Your involvement is valuable, and we do not want anyone to feel excluded because they cannot give.
At the same time, some Prayer Partners may wish to do more.
If God has blessed you with the ability and desire to contribute financially, your generosity can help turn missionary plans into practical assistance for people in need.
Financial contributions help support our educational, evangelistic, humanitarian, and discipleship efforts.
And no gift should be considered insignificant simply because it is small.

🌟 YOU CAN BECOME A PRAYER PARTNER TODAY!
You do not need to complete a lengthy application.
You do not need special training.
You do not need to wait until you have more money, more free time, or more biblical knowledge.
You can begin with a simple prayer:
“Heavenly Father, I lift up Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International and its missionary work in the Philippines. Protect those who serve. Provide for the needs of the ministry. Open doors that no man can shut. Bless the children, families, and communities being reached. Give the missionaries wisdom, strength, courage, and compassion. Above all, let souls come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Use me, Lord, as a faithful Prayer Partner. In Jesus' name, Amen.”
That's how simple it is to begin!
Then make it a habit.
Perhaps you can pray for five minutes each morning.
Perhaps you can remember the ministry during your evening devotions.
Perhaps your family can include the Philippines in its weekly prayer time.
Or perhaps your church can add our missionary efforts to its regular prayer list.
The amount of time may vary.
What matters is faithfulness.
📣 WILL YOU STAND WITH US?
We are not asking you to do everything.
We are asking you to consider doing something.
We need people who will pray when the missionary work is progressing.
We need people who will pray when unexpected challenges arise.
We need people who will pray when doors open.
And we need people who will continue praying when answers seem delayed.
The Apostle Paul wrote:
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.” — Colossians 4:2 (KJV)
What a wonderful opportunity to become involved in something greater than ourselves!
A child in the Philippines may never know your name.
A family receiving assistance may never see your face.
A person who hears the Gospel may never realize that someone thousands of miles away has been praying for them.
But God knows!
And that is what matters.
🙌 OUR PERSONAL INVITATION TO YOU
On behalf of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, I personally invite you to become one of our active Prayer Partners.
My wife Cecilia and I, along with those serving through our ministry, deeply appreciate everyone who has stood with us, prayed for us, encouraged us, and helped make missionary outreach possible.
As we prepare for the next phase of our missionary efforts in the Philippines and Asia, we would be honored to know that you are praying with us and for us.
You can begin today.
You can invite someone else tomorrow.
And together, we can continue taking the Gospel to those who need to hear it.
WILL YOU BECOME AN ACTIVE PRAYER PARTNER FOR THE PHILIPPINES?
If your answer is yes, consider leaving a comment:
“I'M STANDING WITH POMI IN PRAYER!” 🙏
And please share this invitation with your church, prayer group, friends, and family.
We may never meet every person who joins us in prayer.
But we can rejoice knowing that together, we are laborers in God's harvest.
“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
