🍂 A NEW WEEK, A FRESH START—AND 62 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! 🎄
THE FINAL FULL WEEKEND OF OCTOBER IS HERE! GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET!
📖 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
As we enter the final full weekend of October 2026 and prepare for another workweek, I want to take a moment to speak directly to your heart.
You made it this far. And by the grace of God, you're still standing!
Maybe this past week was everything you hoped it would be. The doors opened, the prayers were answered, the bills were paid, and the family is doing well.
Or perhaps it was quite the opposite.
Maybe you faced disappointment, unexpected expenses, difficult conversations, health concerns, or circumstances that left you wondering how you would make it through another day.
Whatever your circumstances, I want to remind you of something:
THE GOD WHO BROUGHT YOU THIS FAR HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU!
🌅 Yesterday Is Gone. Tomorrow Is in God's Hands.
Sometimes we spend so much time worrying about what happened yesterday or what might happen tomorrow that we forget to thank God for today.
But Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:34 not to be consumed with tomorrow's troubles.
We cannot change yesterday. We cannot control everything that tomorrow may bring. But we can trust the Lord with this very moment.
As another workweek approaches, some of you will be putting on uniforms. Others will be preparing classrooms, opening businesses, caring for patients, working in factories, driving trucks, or managing households.
Some of you are retired, but your work of encouraging, praying, helping, and loving others is far from finished.
And some of you are searching for employment, recovering from illness, or wondering what the next chapter of life will look like.
Wherever you find yourself, remember:
YOUR VALUE IS NOT DETERMINED BY YOUR JOB TITLE, YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, OR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.
You matter to God.
And every day He gives you is another opportunity to make a difference.
🙏 Don't Carry Last Week's Burdens Into the New One
Before Monday arrives, why not take a little time this weekend to pray?
Thank God for what went right.
Ask Him for wisdom concerning what went wrong.
Forgive someone who disappointed you.
Encourage someone who is struggling.
Call someone you haven't spoken with in a while.
And perhaps most importantly, spend a few quiet moments in God's presence.
You don't have to enter another week carrying every burden alone.
📖 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
🎄 62 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS—AND COUNTING!
Can you believe it?
Christmas Day is only 62 days away!
Before long, we'll be hearing Christmas carols, watching children count down the days, preparing family gatherings, and remembering the greatest gift ever given to humanity—Jesus Christ.
But as we make our preparations, I want to encourage you to remember those for whom Christmas may look very different.
In the Philippines, where Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International continues its missionary and humanitarian efforts, many families face challenges that make even the simplest Christmas celebration difficult.
Last year, we prepared for approximately 100 families. Nearly 200 attended!
This year, we are believing God for the opportunity to reach 500 families.
Our desire is to share Christmas meals, gifts for children, Bibles, practical assistance, and—above all—the wonderful message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We understand that everyone has responsibilities and financial obligations. We are not asking anyone to neglect those responsibilities.
But if God has blessed you with the opportunity to help, whether through a donation, a prayer, or sharing our ministry's message, we would be grateful.
Sometimes the smallest act of kindness becomes someone's greatest reminder that God has not forgotten them.

❤️ A Prayer for the Coming Week
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for bringing us through another week.
Thank You for the blessings we recognized and the countless blessings we may have overlooked.
As we enter this final full weekend of October, give us rest for our bodies, peace for our minds, and renewed strength for our spirits.
Bless every family represented among our readers, viewers, supporters, and friends.
Open doors for those seeking employment. Provide for those facing financial difficulties. Comfort those who are grieving. Strengthen those who are sick. Encourage those who feel forgotten.
And as we prepare for another workweek, help us to be faithful in the little things, compassionate toward others, and grateful for every opportunity to serve You.
Bless our missionary teams, our supporters, and the families we hope to reach this Christmas.
Above all, may everything we do bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ.
In His precious name we pray.
Amen and Amen!
🌍 From Our Ministry Family to Yours
As October draws to a close, I want to personally thank every reader, viewer, prayer partner, donor, friend, and follower of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International.
Whether you've been with us for years or discovered our ministry only recently, we're grateful that you're here.
As you enjoy this weekend and prepare for another workweek, remember these words:
DON'T LET THE TROUBLES OF YESTERDAY STEAL THE BLESSINGS OF TODAY OR THE HOPE OF TOMORROW!
Keep the faith. Keep praying. Keep trusting. And keep moving forward.
THE BEST WAY TO BEGIN ANOTHER WEEK IS WITH JESUS CHRIST LEADING THE WAY!
With prayers and blessings,
Pastor James Langston
