Notice that Scripture doesn't promise we'll understand everything that happens.
It tells us whom to trust when we don't.
And that makes all the difference!

The Apostle Paul wrote:
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 3:13–14 (KJV)
Paul understood something we desperately need to remember.
You cannot move forward while spending your entire life looking backward.
Yesterday may have taught you some painful lessons.
But yesterday is not where God intends for you to live forever.
YOU STILL HAVE A TOMORROW.
YOU STILL HAVE A PURPOSE.
AND YOUR STORY ISN'T OVER!
So, when life leaves you standing at that unexpected crossroads, don't surrender to despair.
Look up.
Trust God.
And ask the question that might begin an entirely new chapter:
