🌤️ DON'T LET MONDAY STEAL YOUR JOY!

MONDAY AFTERNOON ENCOURAGEMENT | OCTOBER 26, 2026

📖 "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

Good afternoon, friends, family, and fellow Believers!

How is your Monday going?

Perhaps you began this morning full of energy, determination, and optimism. You had plans, responsibilities, and a list of things you wanted to accomplish.

But somewhere between breakfast and this afternoon, life happened!

The telephone rang. Someone needed your attention. An unexpected problem arose. Something that should have taken ten minutes took two hours.

And now you're wondering where the day went!

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Let me remind you of something.

JUST BECAUSE YOUR DAY DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED DOESN'T MEAN GOD HAS ABANDONED HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR DAY!

Sometimes we become so preoccupied with everything that hasn't gone right that we overlook everything God has already brought us through.

You woke up this morning.

You were given another opportunity to live, love, forgive, encourage, and make a difference.

And regardless of what happened earlier today, GOD IS STILL GOD!

❤️ YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO BEGIN AGAIN!

One of the beautiful things about walking with Jesus Christ is that we don't have to wait for another sunrise to experience His grace.

Maybe you lost your patience this morning.

Perhaps you said something you wish you hadn't.

Maybe disappointment knocked the wind out of your sails.

Whatever happened, don't spend the remainder of today allowing one difficult moment to determine your attitude toward everything else.

Ask God for forgiveness where necessary.

Make things right where you can.

And move forward!

Philippians 4:13 reminds us:

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (KJV)

Notice that Paul didn't say we could accomplish everything through our own wisdom, ability, or determination.

OUR STRENGTH COMES THROUGH CHRIST!

🌍 SOMEONE NEEDS YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT TODAY!

As I think about our missionary work in the Philippines, I'm reminded that people everywhere are carrying burdens that others cannot see.

Some are struggling financially.

Others are dealing with family difficulties.

Some are lonely, discouraged, or simply exhausted.

And sometimes, the smallest gesture makes the greatest difference.

A telephone call.

A word of encouragement.

A sincere prayer.

A message that says, "I was thinking about you today."

YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE SOMEONE'S CIRCUMSTANCES, BUT YOU CAN REMIND THEM THAT THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

And perhaps that's one of the reasons God allowed you to read this message today.

🙏 OUR MONDAY AFTERNOON PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another day of life. Forgive us for the times we allow frustration, disappointment, and worry to overshadow Your goodness.

Renew our strength this afternoon. Restore our joy. Give us patience with others, wisdom in our decisions, and compassion toward those who are struggling.

Help us finish this day with a thankful heart, regardless of how it began.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
