🚨 61 DAYS! 500 FAMILIES! 39,972 VIEWERS! ONE MISSION THAT MATTERS FOR ETERNITY!

Dear Friends, Family, Supporters, and Faithful Readers,
Today is October 25, 2026.
Christmas is just 61 days away!
And here at Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International (POMI), there is something weighing heavily upon our hearts.
500 FAMILIES IN THE PHILIPPINES ARE AT THE CENTER OF OUR CHRISTMAS 2026 MISSION!
But before I tell you more about those families, let me share something extraordinary.
As of today, October 25, our ministry blog has welcomed 39,972 viewers and visits!
Nearly 40,000!
When I consider how God has expanded the reach of this little ministry, I cannot help but say:
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
But here's something I want every reader to consider.
What if even a small portion of those nearly 40,000 visits translated into one prayer, one act of kindness, one shared message, or one contribution toward helping a family in need?
Imagine what we could accomplish together!
And that brings me to the reason for this eighth Christmas update.
❤️ LAST CHRISTMAS, WE PREPARED FOR 100 FAMILIES. NEARLY 200 CAME!
We planned, prepared, prayed, and trusted God.
Our goal was to bless 100 families.
But when Christmas arrived, nearly 200 families came!
There was singing, laughter, fellowship, prayer, biblical teaching, Christmas meals, and the wonderful sight of children receiving gifts.
Yet the greatest blessing wasn't something wrapped in colorful paper.
It was the opportunity to tell people about Jesus Christ!
This year, we're stepping out in faith once again.
OUR GOAL FOR CHRISTMAS 2026 IS 500 FILIPINO FAMILIES!
Not 500 numbers on a spreadsheet.
Not 500 names on a report.
500 families. Real people. Real children. Real needs. Real souls.
Families with hopes, struggles, dreams, and challenges that many of us will never fully understand.
And every one of them matters to God.
🎁 WE WANT TO GIVE THEM MORE THAN CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!
Our Christmas 2026 outreach is designed to provide:
🍽️ Christmas meals — bringing families together around food, fellowship, and celebration.
🧸 Toys and gifts — reminding children that they are loved, valued, and remembered.
📚 School supplies and educational assistance — helping children prepare for a brighter future.
👕 Clothing and school uniforms — helping meet practical needs that many families struggle to afford.
📖 Bibles and biblical teaching — introducing families to God's Word.
🙏 Prayer, encouragement, and personal ministry — reminding people that they have not been forgotten.
✝️ THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST — sharing the greatest Gift this world has ever received!
You see, a Christmas meal may satisfy someone's hunger for a day.
A toy may bring a smile to a child's face.
School supplies may help a student continue an education.
But the message of Jesus Christ offers something that money cannot buy.
HOPE. FORGIVENESS. SALVATION. ETERNAL LIFE.
That's why we do what we do!
⏳ 61 DAYS SOUNDS LIKE PLENTY OF TIME—UNTIL IT ISN'T!
One of the greatest challenges of missionary outreach is that preparations cannot wait until the last minute.
Food must be purchased.
Supplies must be gathered.
Gifts must be organized.
Transportation must be arranged.
Volunteers must be coordinated.
And arrangements must be made to minister effectively to hundreds of families.
Add to those challenges the realities of life in the Philippines, including flooding, severe weather, transportation difficulties, and economic hardship, and you begin to understand why preparations must begin long before Christmas morning.
DECEMBER 25 IS NOT WHEN OUR WORK BEGINS. IT IS WHEN MONTHS OF PREPARATION COME TOGETHER!
And that's why we're asking for your help today.
Not because we want to pressure anyone.
Not because we believe everyone can give financially.
And certainly not because we want anyone to feel guilty.
We're asking because the need is real, the opportunity is before us, and time continues to move forward.
