☀️ WHEN YOU GO TO CHURCH TODAY—LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

Someone walking through those church doors today may be carrying a burden you know absolutely nothing about.

It's been a difficult day for some.

A difficult week for others.

For someone else, it's been a difficult month.

And there may be somebody sitting only a few feet from you who would tell you—

“Pastor, it's been a difficult year.”

Their smile may hide it.

Their Sunday clothes may hide it.

Their handshake may hide it.

Even their “I'm doing fine” may hide it.

But inside, the fire that once burned brightly has dwindled to a few cold embers.

🔥 THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN.

Jesus said:

📖 “Ye are the light of the world…” — Matthew 5:14

When you enter church today, don't only ask:

“What am I going to receive?”

Ask:

“Lord, who can I encourage?”

Smile at somebody.

Shake a hand.

Give a hug.

Sit beside the person sitting alone.

Tell somebody you're glad they're there.

Listen without rushing away.

Pray with someone who's hurting.

Speak a word of encouragement.

Let them see Jesus Christ in you.

You may never know what one genuine act of Christian love can accomplish.

Your kindness may be the breath God uses to fan those cold embers back into flame.

🔥 Hope may begin burning again.

🔥 Faith may begin rising again.

🔥 Prayer may begin flowing again.

🔥 Someone may decide not to give up.

Church isn't only about occupying a seat.

We are the Body of Christ.

So when you go to church today—

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.

Someone may desperately need to see Christ in you.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
