That is the vision behind the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International Bookstore.
Our bookstore was never intended simply to put books on shelves, sell titles, or add another name to the enormous world of publishing.
It is an extension of the ministry.

A good book should leave something behind after the final page is turned.

It should challenge assumptions.
It should answer questions—or perhaps cause you to begin asking questions you had never considered before.
It should encourage you when life becomes difficult.
It should confront you when change is necessary.
And when the subject is biblical, it should ultimately point you beyond the author and toward the Word of God.
Scripture tells us:
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” — Proverbs 4:7 KJV
Knowledge gives us information.
Wisdom teaches us what to do with it.
Understanding helps us see how the pieces fit together.
Those three things—knowledge, wisdom, and understanding—are desperately needed in the generation in which we live.

Some may never preach beneath a tent.
Some may never walk into a remote community.

Over the years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to write more than 40 books covering subjects that reach across Christian living, prayer, discipleship, encouragement, history, society, personal responsibility, difficult cultural issues, and questions many people are thinking about but may be reluctant to ask.
Some books encourage.
Some teach.
Some warn.
Some challenge.
Some examine difficult subjects.
Some are designed specifically to help Christians grow stronger in their walk with Jesus Christ.
