The Mission Is Bigger Than a GoFundMe Campaign
We need to talk with you from our hearts.
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International launched our GoFundMe campaign believing people would catch hold of the vision God has placed before us.
So far, the response has not been what we anticipated.
But the vision has not changed.
The mission has not changed.
The people we are trying to reach have not disappeared.
And our determination to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ while ministering to the needs of hurting people has certainly not changed.
So rather than simply asking you again to donate, we want to ask you to do something first:
SEE THE VISION.
🇵🇭 See the families.
👧 See the children.
🍚 See the hungry.
🏚️ See those rebuilding after hardship and disaster.
📖 See someone receiving the Word of God.
🙏 See someone discovering that people thousands of miles away cared enough to pray, give, and help.
✝️ And above everything else, see one more soul hearing about Jesus Christ.
That is what this campaign is about.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT FUNDING AN ORGANIZATION
This is about reaching people.
There is a tremendous difference.
Buildings are tools.
Vehicles are tools.
Generators are tools.
Water systems are tools.
Medical and dental outreaches are tools.
Food distribution is a tool.
School assistance is a tool.
Bibles are tools.
Mission facilities are tools.
But behind every tool is a person.
A mother.
A father.
A child.
A student.
A grandparent.
A struggling family.
A hurting human being whom Jesus Christ died to save.
That is why our heartbeat remains:
HELP US HELP THEM—ONE SOUL AT A TIME.
SOME OF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TOO
We understand something that every fundraiser should acknowledge:
Times are difficult for many of you reading this.
Bills don't stop coming because someone launches a GoFundMe.
Groceries still have to be purchased.
Rent and mortgages still have to be paid.
Cars still break down.
Children still need shoes.
Medicine still costs money.
Unexpected expenses still appear at the worst possible moment.
Some people reading this are probably wondering how they are going to make it through their own month.
We understand.
So please hear our hearts:
We are not asking you to neglect your family to help ours.
We are not asking you to give money you don't have.
We are not trying to place anyone under guilt or condemnation.
But we are asking everyone who reads this to ask God one simple question:
“Lord, is there something You want me to do?”
And then listen.
MAMA TAUGHT US SOMETHING
Growing up, Mama taught us a principle that has stayed with us throughout our lives.
She would tell us that when you need a blessing, look for somebody else you can bless.
There is something profoundly biblical about turning our eyes away from ourselves long enough to notice somebody else.
Jesus said:
“Give, and it shall be given unto you...” — Luke 6:38
And Proverbs tells us:
“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” — Proverbs 19:17
We should never give to God as though He were a vending machine.
We don't give five dollars demanding that God return fifty.
That's not biblical generosity.
We give because we love.
We give because God has been good to us.
We give because somebody else needs help.
We give because we recognize that what God has placed into our hands can sometimes become the answer to somebody else's prayer.
And we trust God with the rest.
YOU MAY BE PRAYING FOR A BLESSING WHILE GOD IS SHOWING YOU SOMEONE TO BLESS
Think about that for a moment.
Sometimes we're praying:
“Lord, help me.”
And somewhere else somebody is praying exactly the same prayer.
“Lord, help me.”
What if God allows those two prayers to cross paths?
What if the answer to somebody's prayer is sitting in somebody else's hand?
Not necessarily thousands of dollars.
Maybe $100.
Maybe $50.
Maybe $25.
Maybe $10.
Maybe $5.
And perhaps you cannot give anything financially.
Then give something else.
Pray.
Share.
Tell somebody.
Send the campaign to your church.
Mention it to your pastor.
Share it with your Sunday school class.
Send it to a friend who has a heart for missions.
Never believe that because you cannot write a large check, you cannot participate in the mission.
WHAT IF EVERYONE DID SOMETHING?
This is where the vision becomes powerful.
Imagine hundreds of people saying:
“I can't do everything—but I can do something.”
One person prays.
Another shares.
Another gives $5.
Another gives $25.
Someone gives $100.
A church decides to participate.
A business owner catches the vision.
Someone shares the campaign with a person we've never met.
Someone purchases one of our books, knowing the royalties support our missionary and outreach efforts.
And suddenly hundreds of seemingly small acts of obedience begin moving in the same direction.
That's how mountains move.
Not always because one person carries the entire mountain—
but because many people put their hands to the work.
DON'T JUST SEE A GOFUNDME PAGE
When you open our campaign, please don't see another fundraiser competing for your attention.
See people.
See ministry.
See opportunity.
See a missionary reaching another community.
See a child receiving help.
See a family discovering that somebody cares.
See the Gospel being carried beyond the four walls of a church.
See prayer becoming action.
See faith developing feet.
Because that is precisely what Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International has always desired to be:
YOUR FEET TO THE NATIONS.
You may never personally walk through the communities where we minister.
We will.
You may never personally meet the families your generosity touches.
We will.
You may never personally hand that Bible, meal, assistance, encouragement, or helping hand to someone in need.
We will.
That is why we say:
We are your eyes, ears, mouths, and feet in Asia.
When you stand with us, you become part of what happens there.
WE ARE NOT GIVING UP
The response to this campaign may not have been what we hoped.
But hear this clearly:
WE ARE NOT GIVING UP.
We're going to keep praying.
We're going to keep preaching.
We're going to keep serving.
We're going to keep reaching.
We're going to keep believing.
We're going to keep putting feet to our faith.
And as long as God gives us strength, opportunity, and another person to reach, we're going to keep saying:
“Just one more, Lord.”
One more family.
One more child.
One more community.
One more Bible.
One more prayer.
One more opportunity.
ONE MORE SOUL.
WILL YOU CATCH THE VISION?
This is our appeal today.
Not:
“How much can you give?”
But:
“Will you catch the vision?”
If God enables you to give—give.
If you can share—share.
If you can pray—pray.
If you can tell someone—tell them.
If your church can become involved—show them the vision.
But please don't simply scroll past another opportunity to make a difference.
Take a moment.
Pray.
Ask God:
“Lord, what would You have me do?”
Then do whatever He places upon your heart.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for every person reading these words.
Some have plenty today. Others are struggling themselves. You know every household, every bill, every burden, every need, and every prayer represented here.
Lord, we ask You to provide for them.
Strengthen the weary.
Encourage those who are discouraged.
Provide for families struggling to make ends meet.
And Father, place this ministry and the people we serve upon the hearts of those You would have stand with us.
We don't ask anyone to move because of guilt.
We ask You to move hearts.
Provide the people.
Provide the resources.
Provide the opportunities.
Open doors that no person can shut.
And help us remain faithful with everything You entrust into our hands.
May food become an expression of Your love.
May assistance become an open door.
May compassion become a testimony.
May every outreach ultimately point people toward Jesus Christ.
And Lord, help us reach—
just one more.
