☀️ GOOD MORNING — SEPTEMBER 15, 2026

You Don't Have to Know Every Step—Just Know Who You're Following

Good morning, family and friends.

Today is Tuesday, September 15, 2026—a day we have never lived before and a day we will never have the opportunity to live again.

Before the telephone rings...

Before the emails begin...

Before the bills demand our attention...

Before the problems of yesterday try to follow us into today...

Before we start worrying about tomorrow...

Let's give this day to the Lord.

The Bible says:

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

Notice that Scripture doesn't say this is the day the Lord has made only if everything goes right.

It doesn't say rejoice only if you have enough money.

Only if you're healthy.

Only if your family is doing well.

Only if the answer to your prayer arrived overnight.

Only if you know exactly what comes next.

It simply says:

THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE.

And because God gave us this day, there is still purpose in it.

🌅 HIS MERCIES WERE WAITING FOR YOU

Somebody went to bed last night carrying a burden.

You woke up this morning, and it was still there.

The circumstances haven't changed.

The medical report hasn't changed.

The financial situation hasn't changed.

The family problem hasn't changed.

The answer still hasn't come.

But something has changed.

There are new mercies available today.

“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

Yesterday's strength was for yesterday.

God has grace for today.

Yesterday's mercy carried you through yesterday.

There is fresh mercy for today.

Yesterday you may have cried.

Today, God is still faithful.

Yesterday you may have stumbled.

Today, you can get back up.

Yesterday you may have wondered whether you could continue.

Look at you—you made it to another morning.

God isn't finished.

👣 JUST TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Perhaps you don't know what you're supposed to do next.

That's all right.

Faith doesn't always give you a map showing the next fifty miles.

Sometimes God simply gives enough light for the next step.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

You may not know where every step will lead.

But you know Who to follow.

Jesus said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life...” — John 14:6

So don't allow uncertainty about tomorrow to rob you of today's peace.

Follow Jesus today.

Then follow Him tomorrow.

And when you reach a place where you cannot see what comes next—

trust the One who can.

🙏 LET US PRAY

Heavenly Father,

Good morning, Lord.

Before we ask You for anything, we simply want to say:

Thank You.

Thank You for another morning.

Thank You for another breath.

Thank You for watching over us through the night.

Thank You for the roof over our heads, the food You provide, the people You have placed in our lives, and the countless blessings we sometimes overlook.

Thank You for Your mercy.

Thank You for Your grace.

Thank You for Your patience.

And above everything else, thank You for Jesus Christ.

Father, we place Tuesday, September 15, 2026, completely into Your hands.

Go before us today.

Order our steps.

Guide our decisions.

Guard our mouths.

Control our thoughts.

Direct our actions.

And please don't allow us to become so busy accomplishing our plans that we completely miss Yours.

🛡️ LORD, PROTECT YOUR PEOPLE TODAY

Father, I pray for everyone reading this prayer.

Protect them as they travel.

Protect those driving to work.

Protect our children traveling to school.

Protect those working around machinery.

Protect our military personnel.

Protect our first responders.

Protect doctors, nurses, teachers, caregivers, missionaries, pastors, and ministry workers.

Protect those traveling by land, sea, and air.

Place Your hand upon our homes and families.

Watch over our children and grandchildren.

Keep them from dangers seen and unseen.

Give wisdom where decisions must be made.

Give patience where tempers are being tested.

Give courage where fear has taken hold.

Give strength where someone feels they cannot take another step.

💔 LORD, REMEMBER THE PERSON WHO IS HURTING

Father, somebody reading this is smiling in front of everyone else while privately falling apart.

Please meet them this morning.

Your Word says:

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart...” — Psalm 34:18

Be near to them, Lord.

Someone is grieving.

Someone is lonely.

Someone is worried about money.

Someone doesn't know how the bills will be paid.

Someone needs food.

Someone received troubling medical news.

Someone is worried about their child.

Someone's marriage is hurting.

Someone is fighting temptation.

Someone feels forgotten.

Someone prayed last night with tears running down their face.

Lord, please remind them this morning: they have not been forgotten.

Where there is fear, bring peace.

Where there is confusion, bring clarity.

Where there is weakness, bring strength.

Where there is bitterness, bring healing.

Where there is hopelessness, restore hope.

And where someone's faith has become little more than a flickering ember—

Lord, breathe upon it again.

🏠 LORD, BLESS OUR FAMILIES

Father, strengthen our marriages.

Protect our children.

Watch over our grandchildren.

Restore broken relationships.

Bring prodigal sons and daughters home.

Heal old wounds.

Break generational cycles that have harmed families for years.

Help parents to parent with wisdom.

Help grandparents to leave godly examples.

Help husbands and wives to love one another.

And Lord, where Jesus Christ is not yet the center of a family—

please make Yourself known.

🌎 LORD, REMEMBER OUR WORLD

Father, our world desperately needs You.

There is war.

There is violence.

There is hunger.

There is poverty.

There are disasters.

There is human trafficking.

There are frightened children.

There are displaced families.

There are people waking up this morning wondering whether they will have enough food to make it through another day.

Remember them, Lord.

And please don't merely cause us to feel sorry for people.

Show us what we can do.

Give us compassionate hearts.

Open our eyes.

Open our hands.

Open doors for ministry.

And if You have placed something within our ability to do—

don't allow us to walk past the opportunity.

❤️ LORD, HELP US REACH ONE MORE

Father, I pray especially for Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International.

You know the vision.

You know the needs.

You know every door we are asking You to open.

You know every community we desire to reach.

You know every child, family, village, and individual we haven't even met yet.

But Lord, above every project and every plan, keep our hearts focused upon what matters most:

ONE MORE SOUL.

One more person hearing about Jesus.

One more person discovering that there is hope.

One more person receiving the Gospel.

One more life changed.

One more family helped.

One more person finding salvation through Jesus Christ.

Father, provide every resource necessary to accomplish Your will—not ours.

Send the right people.

Open the right doors.

Close the wrong ones.

Provide the finances.

Give wisdom.

Give protection.

Give strength.

And wherever You send us—

may Jesus Christ always be the reason we go.

✝️ AND LORD, SAVE SOMEONE TODAY

Before this day is over, somewhere in this world, let somebody say yes to Jesus.

Let someone hear the Gospel who has never heard it clearly before.

Let someone who walked away come home.

Let someone who thought they were beyond forgiveness discover the Cross.

Let someone who believed there was no hope discover Jesus Christ.

Use us, Lord.

Use our words.

Use our testimony.

Use our resources.

Use our social media.

Use our ministry.

Use our lives.

Use whatever we have to reach one more.

🌤️ NOW GO INTO THIS DAY WITH FAITH

Family, you don't have to solve everything this morning.

You don't have to understand everything.

You don't have to know what next month holds.

You don't even have to know exactly how everything you're facing today will work out.

Just take the next step with Jesus.

When you're afraid—pray.

When you're uncertain—pray.

When you're blessed—give thanks.

When an opportunity to help someone appears—take it.

When God opens a door—walk through it.

And when you cannot see where your next step should be—

keep your eyes on the One you're following.

Remember:

Faith is a step at a time.

You don't always know where to step—but you know Who to follow.

His Name is Jesus.

May the Lord bless you today.

May He protect you.

May He strengthen you.

May He provide for you.

May He guide you.

May He give you peace.

May He bless your family.

May He order your steps.

And may He use you today to become an answer to somebody else's prayer.

Good morning, everyone.

Have a blessed, safe, productive, Christ-centered Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

In Jesus' mighty Name, Amen. 🙏
