BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP TONIGHT…

There is one more thing I want you to know.

You made it.

Maybe this past week nearly broke you.

Maybe you cried where nobody could see you.

Maybe you smiled while your heart was hurting.

Maybe you wondered how much longer you could keep going.

Maybe you prayed and heaven seemed silent.

Maybe you're lying there tonight with questions you still cannot answer.

But listen carefully:

God has not abandoned you.

The same God who carried you through yesterday is already waiting in tomorrow.

So tonight, release what you cannot control.

Forgive somebody.

Forgive yourself.

Stop replaying the conversation.

Stop fighting battles in your mind that haven't even happened.

Stop trying to solve tomorrow tonight.

Give it to Jesus.

Father, tonight I pray for every person reading these words. Quiet the troubled mind. Comfort the grieving heart. Strengthen the exhausted. Encourage the discouraged. Provide for the struggling family. Protect our children. Watch over those working tonight. Draw the lost to Jesus Christ. And remind every weary soul that morning is coming.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
