BEFORE ANOTHER WEEK BEGINS—GIVE IT TO GOD

Sunday evening has arrived.

Tomorrow may be Labor Day, but another week is standing at the door.

And before you carry last week's worries into this one, put them down.

You don't know what Tuesday will bring.

You don't know what phone call may come.

You don't know which door will open—or close.

You don't know what challenge, opportunity, disappointment, blessing, or unexpected turn is ahead.

But God already does.

So don't enter this new week alone.

Pray over your home.

Pray over your marriage.

Pray over your children and grandchildren.

Pray over your job.

Pray over your finances.

Pray over your health.

Pray over your decisions.

And then pray something that requires tremendous faith:

“Father, whatever happens this week, help me trust You.”

Not just when things go right.

Not just when prayers are answered the way you hoped.

Not just when the money is there.

Not just when everybody treats you right.

Whatever happens—trust Him.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

You may not know what this week holds. But you know Who holds you.
