In Just 8½ Months, God Has Taken This Little Ministry Blog Far Beyond What We Imagined
“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” — Acts 19:20
When we started the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International Blog approximately eight and a half months ago, we had a simple purpose:
PREACH JESUS. TEACH THE WORD. ENCOURAGE PEOPLE. REACH THE WORLD.
We didn't know exactly how far it would travel.
We didn't know who would read it.
We didn't know what countries, cities, homes, churches, hospitals, workplaces, military installations, classrooms, or quiet bedrooms these messages might eventually reach.
We simply started writing.
And God started opening doors.
Today, we are humbled and tremendously grateful to announce that our ministry blog has welcomed more than 15,763 visitors since its inception!
15,763!
For some websites, that might simply be another statistic.
For us, it means something much more.
EVERY NUMBER REPRESENTS A PERSON.
Someone searching.
Someone reading.
Someone hurting.
Someone wondering.
Someone praying.
Someone looking for answers.
Someone wanting to understand the Bible.
Someone needing encouragement.
Someone questioning their faith.
Someone wondering whether God still cares.
Someone wanting to know more about Jesus Christ.
And perhaps someone who was only one Gospel message away from eternity being changed forever.
That is why these numbers matter to us.
THIS BLOG WAS NEVER ABOUT NUMBERS
We certainly celebrate growth.
But our purpose has never been to accumulate clicks.
Our goal is not internet popularity.
Our goal is not recognition.
Our goal is not to build a social-media empire.
OUR GOAL IS SOULS.
Jesus said:
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15
For generations, missionaries boarded ships and crossed oceans carrying the Gospel.
Today, technology allows a message written in one location to cross an ocean in seconds.
A devotional can reach someone thousands of miles away.
A Bible study can enter a home we could never physically visit.
A prayer can encourage someone we may never meet.
A salvation message can appear on the screen of someone searching for answers at two o'clock in the morning.
THAT IS A MISSION FIELD.
And we intend to use it for Jesus Christ.
FROM A LITTLE BLOG TO A GROWING OUTREACH
When this blog began approximately 8½ months ago, we simply wanted another avenue through which Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International could minister.
Since then, it has grown into much more.
We have discussed:
Jesus Christ and salvation.
Prayer and faith.
Bible prophecy and the End Times.
Christian living and sanctification.
Marriage and family.
Young people and the challenges facing this generation.
America and world events.
Israel and the Middle East.
Missions and evangelism.
The Philippines and Asia.
Human trafficking.
Addictions and spiritual bondage.
Disaster relief and humanitarian needs.
Giving and helping others.
Questions people are sometimes afraid to ask.
And through it all, one Name must remain above everything else:
JESUS CHRIST.
If the blog grows to 20,000 visitors, we preach Jesus.
If it grows to 50,000, we preach Jesus.
If it reaches 100,000, we preach Jesus.
If one person reads tomorrow's message—
WE STILL PREACH JESUS.
Because one soul matters to God.
SOMETHING IS HAPPENING
More people are finding the blog.
More people are reading.
More messages are being shared.
More questions are being asked.
And the ministry's digital outreach is reaching people far beyond the walls of any church building.
That excites us.
But it also gives us an enormous responsibility.
Jesus said:
“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required...” — Luke 12:48
Greater reach means greater responsibility.
We must remain biblical.
We must remain prayerful.
We must remain compassionate.
We must remain faithful.
We must never compromise the Gospel simply to attract an audience.
We must never trade biblical truth for popularity.
And we must never forget why God gave us a voice in the first place.

We don't know where God will take this blog.
But we know what we want to do when we get there.

ENCOURAGE THE HURTING.
STRENGTHEN BELIEVERS.
REACH THE LOST.
SUPPORT MISSIONS.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS.
AND KEEP POINTING PEOPLE TO THE CROSS.
From the United States to the Philippines, throughout Asia, and wherever God opens another digital door—
we're going through it.
One message.
One reader.
One prayer.
One share.
One soul at a time.
And if the Lord allows another 15,763 people to find us, we will greet them with the same message we started with:
JESUS CHRIST STILL SAVES.
To God alone be all the glory!

Pray that every message will remain faithful to His Word.
