🌅 GOOD MORNING — AUGUST 25, 2026

BEFORE YOU FACE THE DAY, FACE IT WITH GOD

Good morning!

Before the telephone rings, before the emails arrive, before the responsibilities begin piling up, and before you start worrying about something that hasn't even happened yet—give God the first moments of your day.

📖 “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” — Psalm 5:3

Today will bring things you expected.

It will probably bring a few things you didn't.

There may be decisions to make, problems to solve, people who need you, and situations completely beyond your control.

But remember this:

NOTHING YOU ENCOUNTER TODAY WILL TAKE GOD BY SURPRISE.

He is already there.

So don't begin August 25 carrying the weight of the entire day on your shoulders.

Begin it by saying:

“Lord, this day belongs to You.”

Ask Him to order your steps.

Ask Him to guard your words.

Ask Him to give you wisdom before you react.

Ask Him to help you recognize the person who may need encouragement.

And when something doesn't go according to your plans, remember that an interruption to you may become an appointment from God.

Today, somebody may need your smile.

Somebody may need your patience.

Somebody may need forgiveness.

Somebody may need a helping hand.

Somebody may simply need to hear:

“I'm praying for you.”

Don't become so busy getting through the day that you miss the opportunity God placed inside the day.

🙏 MORNING PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for waking us to see another morning. Thank You for August 25, 2026—a day we have never lived before and will never live again.

Before we ask You for anything, we simply say:

THANK YOU, LORD.

Thank You for life.

Thank You for mercy.

Thank You for another opportunity to love, serve, forgive, encourage, pray, give, and make a difference.

Father, go before us today.

Order our steps and direct our decisions. Guard our hearts, minds, mouths, homes, families, and loved ones.

Give strength to those who awakened tired.

Give peace to those who awakened worried.

Give hope to those who awakened discouraged.

Provide for those wondering how today's needs will be met.

Comfort those who awakened grieving.

Bring healing according to Your will to those who are hurting.

Open doors that should be opened, and give us enough wisdom not to force doors You have closed.

Lord, protect our children. Strengthen marriages and families. Encourage pastors, missionaries, caregivers, first responders, military personnel, teachers, workers, and everyone carrying responsibilities others may never see.

Remember those who are hungry, homeless, lonely, forgotten, displaced, imprisoned, persecuted, or desperately searching for hope.

And Father, if You choose to use us as part of someone's answer today—

DON'T LET US BE TOO BUSY TO NOTICE.

Most importantly, draw someone to Jesus Christ today. Let the Gospel reach another heart, another home, another family, another community, and another nation.

We don't know everything this Tuesday will bring.

But we know Who will walk through it with us.

Therefore, we will not begin this morning afraid.

We will begin it believing.

This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

In the wonderful and matchless name of Jesus Christ,

Whatever happens today:

Pray before you panic.

Listen before you react.

Forgive quickly.

Love generously.

Give God your best.

Help somebody along the way.

And when tonight comes, may you be able to look back and say:

“LORD, THANK YOU. WE MADE THIS DAY TOGETHER.”
