WHO IS SENIOR PASTOR JAMES LANGSTON?

You see the name Senior Pastor James Langston, but who is the man behind the ministry?

He is a husband, father, grandfather, retired U.S. Navy veteran of 27 years, missionary, pastor, author, and servant of Jesus Christ.

Pastor James Langston gave his life to Christ as a teenager in 1973 after being raised in a single-parent home. Called by God at an early age and encouraged by the prayers of his great-grandmother and grandmother, he has spent more than five decades serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel around the world.

After retiring from the United States Navy in 2003, he continued pursuing his lifelong calling through preaching, teaching, missionary outreach, humanitarian assistance, and writing. Today, he serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, with a heart to reach Asia and beyond with the message of Jesus Christ.

As an author of more than 40 books, Pastor Langston's writings address faith, family, leadership, current events, discipleship, and the Christian life. Yet, beyond the titles, accomplishments, and experiences, his greatest desire remains unchanged:

To hear the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

He and his wife, Cecilia, have been married since 1979, are blessed with six children and fifteen grandchildren, and continue to answer God's call: "Here am I; send me." (Isaiah 6:8)
