THE GLORY RETURNS

"And I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east... and the land was radiant with His glory." — Ezekiel 43:2

Ezekiel witnessed a breathtaking moment: the return of God's glory to the temple. Earlier, he had seen the heartbreaking departure of God's presence because of Israel's rebellion. Now, through God's mercy and grace, restoration begins, and His presence returns to dwell among His people. The radiance that filled the land symbolized renewed fellowship, hope, and blessing.

In our own spiritual journey, sin, compromise, and neglect can distance us from experiencing the fullness of God's presence. Yet God remains willing to draw near when we repent and surrender our hearts to Him. As we remove idols, pride, and self-will, we make room for His glory to fill every area of our lives.

This prophetic vision also points to a greater future hope: the day when God's glory will cover the earth and His kingdom will be fully established. Despite human failure, God's ultimate plan ends in victory, restoration, and eternal light.

Today, consider how you can invite God's presence into your daily life through worship, prayer, obedience, service, and holiness. May the thought of His glory inspire you to seek Him more deeply.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your mercy and Your desire to dwell with Your people. Cleanse my heart of anything that hinders Your presence, and let Your glory shine through my life. Amen.
