❤️ AM I MY BROTHER'S KEEPER?

"Then the Lord said to Cain, 'Where is Abel your brother?' He said, 'I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?'" — Genesis 4:9

Years ago, Tom Brady remarked, "There has to be more to life than this."

He was right.

There is far more to life than careers, possessions, achievements, championships, or social status. Life is ultimately about knowing God and helping others know Him.

If we're not careful, we can become trapped in a cycle of living only for ourselves—seeing no evil, hearing no evil, speaking no evil—while countless people quietly slip into eternity without the hope found in Jesus Christ.

It's true that none of us is responsible for every problem in this world. Every person is carrying a burden of some kind.

But the question God asked long ago still echoes today:

"Am I my brother's keeper?"

Will we simply hope things improve, or will we step forward and do what we can with what God has entrusted to us?

Ignoring suffering doesn't make it disappear. Eventually, the brokenness affecting others reaches every community, every family, and every doorstep.

At Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International, we've chosen to answer God's call to be our brother's keeper. What some call impossible, God calls obedience.

With His help, we are taking the Gospel into the highways and hedges of life, ministering to the whole person—mind, body, and soul.
