🌍 Cherish Your Church – Redeem the Time

If you have a church—a place where your mind, body, soul, and spirit are nourished—then you are blessed beyond measure. In an age when faith is often challenged, when values are shifting, and when distractions compete for our every waking moment, the local church remains a vital anchor for God’s people.

The church is not simply a building with four walls and a roof. It is a living, breathing fellowship of believers—gathered in the name of Jesus, united by His Word, and strengthened by His Spirit. In this place, we find worship that lifts our hearts, teaching that renews our minds, fellowship that restores our joy, and prayer that heals our wounds.

Ephesians 5:16 reminds us to “redeem the time, because the days are evil.” This is not a casual suggestion—it’s an urgent call. The days we live in are full of moral compromise, spiritual apathy, and increasing hostility toward the truth of God’s Word. Now, more than ever, we must hold fast to the community of faith God has placed us in.

That means:

  • Attending faithfully—not just when it’s convenient.

  • Supporting your church with your gifts, service, and resources.

  • Praying daily for your pastor and leaders, that they would have wisdom, courage, and strength.

  • Encouraging your fellow believers, because the Christian journey is not meant to be walked alone.

When you choose to plant yourself in a local body of believers, you are declaring to the world: “I will not go it alone. I will stand with the Body of Christ. I will be part of what God is doing here and now.”

Do not underestimate the impact of your presence, your prayers, and your partnership. The local church is where disciples are made, lives are changed, and the light of the Gospel shines in dark places.

If you already have a church home, treasure it. If you do not, pray for God to lead you to one that teaches the Bible faithfully, loves people genuinely, and serves the Lord wholeheartedly.

The time is short. The work is great. The fellowship is precious.
Let us redeem the time—together.
