Still others begin with a dream.
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International (POMI) began with a calling.
Long before there were websites, books, blogs, social media platforms, or international ministry opportunities, there was a simple yet life-changing response to God's voice:
"Here am I; send me." (Isaiah 6:8)
That calling continues to shape every sermon we preach, every book we publish, every prayer we pray, every family we encourage, and every soul we seek to reach.
Today, Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International is a full-Gospel, interdenominational ministry committed to proclaiming the unchanging truth of God's Word while demonstrating the love of Christ through practical acts of compassion, discipleship, and missionary outreach.
We believe the Gospel is as relevant today as it was when Jesus first commanded His disciples to take it into all the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple.
To reach, teach, disciple, encourage, and equip people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Everything we do points toward that objective.
Whether we are preaching in a church, conducting Bible studies, publishing books, writing devotional articles, mentoring believers, praying with families, or serving communities in need, our desire is that every person encounters the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Our ministry motto summarizes our heart:
"We are your eyes, ears, mouths, and feet in Asia."
For many faithful supporters who may never have the opportunity to travel overseas, we have the privilege of serving as their hands extended across the world—bringing the hope of Christ where it is needed most.
Our Vision
God has placed before us an exciting and challenging vision.
Our long-term goal is to establish a permanent ministry headquarters in the Philippines, creating a strategic base from which the Gospel can be shared throughout Asia.
This vision extends far beyond constructing buildings.
It is about building lives.
It is about equipping believers.
It is about strengthening churches.
It is about reaching children, families, and communities with both the message and compassion of Jesus Christ.

Our message has remained unchanged since the ministry began.

We proclaim God's love while never compromising God's truth.
We believe that every life has value because every person is created in the image of God.
Our desire is not merely to increase church attendance.
Our desire is to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
Meet Our Senior Pastor
Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International is led by Pastor James Langston, a retired United States Navy officer, author, missionary, and lifelong student of God's Word.
After serving our nation for twenty-seven years in the United States Navy, Pastor Langston answered God's call to full-time ministry with renewed commitment, bringing the same discipline, integrity, and servant leadership that marked his military career into missionary work.
As the author of more than forty Christian books, he writes with a pastor's heart and a missionary's burden. His writings encourage believers, answer difficult biblical questions, address contemporary issues through the lens of Scripture, and consistently point readers back to Jesus Christ.
Together with his wife, Cecilia, Pastor Langston is committed to expanding Gospel outreach throughout the Philippines and beyond, believing that every soul is precious in God's sight and worthy of hearing the Good News.
