RETURN, O BACKSLIDING CHILDREN

"Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding. 'Yes, we will come to You, for You are the Lord our God.'" — Jeremiah 3:22

Have you drifted from where you once were with God?

One of the most beautiful truths in Scripture is that God never stops calling His children home. Jeremiah 3:22 reveals a God who does not merely point out our failures—He offers healing for them. His invitation is not condemnation, but restoration.

Backsliding rarely happens overnight. It often begins with small compromises, distractions, neglected prayer, or a cooling passion for the things of God. Yet no matter how far we wander, God's mercy reaches farther.

The turning point comes when we respond as Israel did: "Yes, we will come to You." Repentance is more than regret; it is a decision to return. When we do, God restores fellowship, renews joy, and strengthens our walk with Him.

If you feel distant today, don't stay there. The Father is calling. His grace is sufficient. His arms are open. His desire is restoration.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, I confess my tendency to stray. Thank You for inviting me back. Heal my backsliding and renew my passion for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
