🙏 WHEN THE WATERS RISE, LET OUR PRAYERS RISE HIGHER
Our hearts are heavy as we remember the families across Texas, Missouri, New Jersey, Louisiana, and South Carolina who are facing devastating flooding. For many, the floodwaters have taken more than homes and possessions—they have stolen treasured memories, disrupted livelihoods, and, in some heartbreaking cases, claimed the lives of loved ones.
Today, let us do more than watch another headline pass by. Let us pray.
Pray for those grieving unimaginable loss. Pray for first responders working tirelessly around the clock. Pray for neighbors helping neighbors. Pray for churches opening their doors. Pray for wisdom for local, state, and national leaders as they coordinate relief efforts. And pray that hope will shine through the darkest moments.
Scripture reminds us, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). In times like these, compassion is not optional—it is the evidence of God's love working through His people.
If you know someone in one of these affected areas, reach out. A phone call, a message, a prayer, or a helping hand may mean far more than you realize.
Please join Pilgrim Outreach Ministries International in praying that God will comfort the brokenhearted, protect those still in danger, provide for every need, and strengthen the hands of all who are bringing relief. Even in the midst of overwhelming waters, our God remains faithful.
